Il Nibbio is a great hotel if you want value and a good alternative to staying on the lakefront properties of Lake Como which you will pay through the nose for. You will need a car, but you pretty much need that unless you want to just get around the lake by boat and not see anything else. If you...

We stayed for two nights at Il Nibbio on our stay at Lake Como, its location is good if you're driving, as it was great fun to drive down to Bellagio where we rented a boat and had a very relaxing time at its restaurants. We also visited the city of Como which was about 30 minutes away. The room was...

The location of the hotel is in a small village (Magreglio) 15 km out of Bellagio, deep inside the mountains. If you don't have a car, then this is definitely NOT your hotel, since the distance and especially the road is very inconvenient (narrow, with lots of turns). However, if you want a "base" for your 2 or 3-day Lake...

This hotel is a bit out of the main routes and the town has very little to offer in terms of restaurants and activities. The pretty town of Bellagio is not far but needs to drive though a very curvy road. We did it under pouring rain and this was not fun. Saying this, the hotel is fine with clean...

Overall, staff was very helpfull and gave us a welcome feeling from the moment we arived. The rooms were small but efficient and clean. Too bad the terras wasn't inviting to sit on. however the small balcony was a welcome change from our room. The ventilation in our room was good. The breakfast was more than decent, plenty of choice,...

Hotel is located in small village which is not particuraly interesting so if you don't have a car or motoped or anything to be very mobile, you're stuck. It's typical B&B - you're getting what you're paying for. Rooms are quite clean and comfy, big enough to not get claustrophobic. The drawback may be the bathroom - VERY small and...

Overall, this hotel in the region of Bellagio was a good way to make holidays at lake Como. The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice and cosy. Breakfast was good. Very nice little hotel near Bellagio, really good priced. Rooms are nice, breakfast really good. If you go with little kids ask for 1st floor since they do not have elevator. Daisy was really helpful and friendly.
