My stay at the Mayabell was very pleasant. The pool is nicely located and sometimes you get a good view on the monkeys in the trees surrounding it. There were some leaves in it, but when your surrounded by jungle you'll always have some in the water. Rooms are rustic but the beds are more then decent. Had a cockroach... More

What a Wonderful place! My second time here Camping! The camping spots are very good.... There is a hut for Camping to give shade from the scorching Sun plus protect from the Jungle rain! Didn't stay at the Bungalows but they look Awesome! All of the place is very clean....only "Downsides": Water from the Swimming pool is not heated so... More

Best vibe on the planet...great people, low prices. Swing and sleep in a hammocha (hammock) under a Palapa for 80 pesos a day. Inside the National Park, your Palapa is in a rain forest and you are within walking distance to The Fantastic Ruins of Palenque. Quiet at night with a great mix of travelers from around the world. If... More

Negatives: Damp sheets because of Humidity. Restaurant order & pay, take order to window, collect when name called which makes delivery erratic. Problems with early start at restaurant No Wi-Fi . No AC.  (freestanding Fans in rooms 14-17). Strong smell (?gas?) in bathroom made showering unpleasant Positives Nice Pool. Food & drink (great cocktails) cheap & fair options Good spaghetti with mushrooms... More

our room was 300mx(no private bathroom), super clean, both beds very nice. they could maybe improve a little on the shared bathroom the food there was good but really nothing special and for the price not a lot at all..I still felt hungry after finishing my plate very close to the ruins which is nice, just about a 25min walk

I absolutely loved my stay at Maya Bell! The jungle lodges are beautiful. Very basic but clean with everything you need. The pool area is amazing but what makes it is the restaurant and bar. Gracie who runs the bar is awesome! Her cocktails are sublime - especially the margheritas. Best cocktails I've ever had! Food was great and staff... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and found it an interesting alternative to luxury hotels! There are rooms with a/c but mine was poolside with no a/c and no tv. The pool is outdoor and incredible as well as the restaurant and bar. Live music nightly and the food is ample and cheaply priced, service is slow so get there... More

Stayed here for two nights. Restaurant has incredible food at cheap prices and the service is excellent. Rooms are clean and bug free. We stayed in room 11 and we had air con although I don't know if all of the rooms do. Our friends had two scorpions and lots of ants in their room and the owners were quick... More

I consider myself an old loyal customer to this place, at least I was. There are dozens of new hotels in Palenque opening each season, had tried some of them and I always returned to this legendary peaceful hotel looking for my three best requirements: affordability, comfort and jungle experience. What a disappointment yesterday when I came back to a... More
