This wonderful little hotel has all the charm of a small property but the service and presentation of something much larger. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. There's an in-room safe, fan, a/cond and good size bathroom. Plentry of towels and places to hang things. The breakfast menu is much better than most in this price range. Some...

Stayed in the bit of the hotel which is slightly separate and just has the rooms. Comfortable rooms and a decent sized-bathroom. The hotel across the street (Chablis) allows you to use their pool. Decent wifi.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. It's well located in a quiet area with plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff are helpful but it is very, very noisy. Both times we stayed there (once in '93 and once in 2017) building work was going on. Fair enough, but hammering right up until midnight? We...

The Hotel Xibalba is in a good location with hotels and restaurants around and about 2 minute walk from the ADO bus station. Our room had twin beds, airconditioning and a clean bathroom, with 2 free bottles of water in the room provided each day. There was a safe and WIFI which only worked in the foyer. There was no-where...

A good hotel to stay at for a short stay. It is clean and safe. Fairly basic in most ways. Good place to have a beer in the lobby. The restaurant next door is really good for seafood. Not sure what it is called.

I first stayed here in 2006 and returned this January (2017). I couldn't think of staying anywhere else. My room--No. 27--was spacious, quiet, and very pleasant. The owner, Marcos Morales, is a perfect gentleman and host who remembered me, although we had met ten long years ago. The contact info. on the hotel website is not very helpful when making...

Location is good, near the city center. Hotel is normal, nice, clean, rooms with wi-fi. Maybe a little bit noisy. Morning call was done by a guy who actually called room by room, knocking the door.... And we heard it all. Staff is kind but they don't really speak English. So be prepared to use your basic Spanish. The breakfast...

The hotel is located in the "hotel zone" of the city of Palenque. On the same street there are some other hotels, few nice restaurants and shops. The supermercados and center of the city are relatively near - you could walk there. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly (well, as everywhere there in fact), the design is just...

By Mexican standards, this was a very nice hotel. Not fancy, but very clean, not one bug seen in 4 nights! Nice tile flooring, lots of hot water, two beds, reading lights, windows with screens! We had the room at the back of the hotel, so had a large window that opened to good breezes, not sure all rooms had...

After 2+ weeks of traveling throughout Mexico, we stayed in hotels, private casas and guesthouses of different quality but this was by far our worst accommodation. It gave off more of a hostel vibe, rather than a hotel. Hotel seemed empty and, for an exception of a small youth tour group, overall looked rather deserted. Breakfast is not included, even...
