y stay was quite pleasant in May of 2015. My first room was as far from the reception as possible and I loved swinging in the hammock and watching magnificent blue hummingbirds feasting on incredible jungle flowers. Then the weekend came and with it noisy people to share my palapa building which is NOT soundproof between rooms. When I asked... More

Lovely, very spacious and impeccably clean cabins with a jungle feeling, yet a few meters from the road to the Mayan ruins. Very quiet and relaxing with a lovely pool. A short collectivo ride (200 pesos) to downtown Palenque. Excellent service, no TV to distract you, internet at the reception only. Hotel estaurant offers basic fares, but a few better... More

This hotel consits of cabins spread out over a well mantained resort area. I feel like we got a really good deal for the 2 nights we stayed as we booked there instead of online. The rooms were spacious, clean and had warm showers (not always a given!). Wifi only worked in the reception area (not the room) and the... More

First time here, it was not bad. The rooms are in small buildings resembling a village with shacks. We chose it for its proximity to the Palenque ruins, and the services they listed on the web, such as AC, 4-5 persons per room, parking lot, and of course, an affordable price, nothing outrageous like some other places nearby. Wifi is... More

Cabanas are beautiful and we loved the hamaca that we had outside the room, it was great to seat outside and have a conversation with the rest of the group. The down side was that my room had a strong odor of humidity and water was leaking from somewhere in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the people very attentive.... More

We got to the hotel very late at night and they still received us kindly. The room was nice, fresh and clean. Internet was kind of slow, but one doesn't need it in such a beautiful & quiet place. We could also enjoy the pool area. Due to the lack of time, we couldn't try the food or interact with... More

Cabanas in a beautiful garden with a great swimmingpool. That is The positive part. Less nice is: internet is really slow and not available in The cabanas. The garden needs Some maintenance. The rooms are not Well furnished. The maintenance of The room is bad. The hotel had a strange policy for The swimming pool towels. Further in The Road... More

The one compliment I must give this hotel is that the people who work there were extremely nice and polite. However, some other aspects made it less than stellar. For one, I was thankful for the ac, but there was no way to moderate the temperature: it was either on or off, so I was either hot or freezing. In... More

A couple of years ago my husband and I went to Peru with a tour company that arranged a variety of experiences, adrenaline & relaxing, luxury & back to nature, you get the idea. After going to the obvious places we were taken to the jungle to be “off the grid”. There was the initial, ”What no television?” panic. It... More

Only stayed one night. No info at check in except a generic banner showing photos of local sights without text or prices. I wandered back to reception later and an attempt was made to sell me a driven tour to Palenque and onto Aqua Azul somewhat puzzling as we obviously had our own vehicle. WiFi only worked at reception and... More
