We arrived here after an 11 hour bus trip as part of a Tucan Mayan Circle trip. When we opened the room door, I felt like turning round and getting back on the bus.It was truly horrible. The room numbers were written on the walls out side in black felt pen.We had one window that looked over the air conditioner vent... More

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a tour. I would recommend going with a different tour company if they use this hotel! Hotel Kashlan is basic (as expected) but bathrooms were dirty and mouldy, receptionist was completely unwelcoming, nowhere to sit or relax outside of the room and switching the air conditioning on is like having a... My family has stayed here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. It's located near the center of town & just off the main street so you can whatever you need close by. The rooms are not extravagant, but there is a hot shower.

We stayed at this hotel in the centre of Palenque. From here we visited Agua Azul Misol Ha and the ruins at Palenque. To this day the ruins are our favourite and we have referred countless tourists to these and the features mentioned above. No complaints at all with this hotel. |Nothing remarkable but nothing horrible either.

This hotel is quite basic. The rooms were old but clean with a very big shower, loud air-con and a relatively hard bed. The shower had hot water and good pressure and the location was right in the centre of town. The hotel looks like a hotel but it seems to be used as a home during the day by... More

We stayed in this hotel with our tour. The room and bed is nice and basic. Staff pretty helpful and nice too. However there is some mould in the bathroom. Also they have some sort of porous sheet that they put over the drain to protect it and when I moved it during the shower an big hair ball floated... More

It was the worst hotel we stayed in our trip, and we stayed in10 different hotels in Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. We were with the group, so we had no choice. Old-old-old, no even signs of comfort. Ventilator 100 years old, air conditioner only slightly younger, but so load, it's better to turn it off. Look for other options if... More

300 pesos for a room for one with a fan - 200 more with air con. Chosen only as I arrived after dark, had to book a trip to Bonampak and Yaxchilan which left at 6 the next morning so no point in paying for luxury or even breakfast. It's a long time since I stayed somewhere with soap, loo... More

This is a good hotel at a good price and great location! We had a really long bus trip from Mexico City to Palenque and arrived in Palenque town at 8am. we were looking for a cheap, good hotel near the bus station. Palenque town itself was much smaller than I imagined. This hotel is located very close to the... More

The hotel is a bit older, but the location is one block away from the main street, and only a few blocks away from the main square. The price and quality of the accommodation is comparable to many other ones available. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the sheets are clean, and the room is clean, but not spotless. This... More
