We had a lovely 3 nights here. Had to move rooms as toilet leaking. Otherwise the only other complaint was they spoke very little English. Oh and no wifi in room! Good room size Enormous pool Good reasonably priced food in restaurant Set in the jungle very close to Palenque Archeological site. Beautifully maintained gardens.

It was my first trip to Mexico with my parents so I played safe and booked only the "five star" places to ensure there would be someone who spoke English. Chan Kah is a wonderful place with neat, clean rooms and a great property. On our 1st day here, one of the receptionists spoke English but we never saw him...

You arrive at the reception and feel a bit nervous as the entrance area is unimpressive to say the least. But then you walk to the cabins through manicured gardens with views on the jungle, past the stunning palm-fringed pool, and realize it really is a beautiful place. We really liked this place, we found it spectacularly relaxing to just...

Located between the city of Palenque and the archeological site. This resort is literally on the edge of the rain forest. Although this is a unique location, it also offers some challenges because a stay here means that you are rather isolated. There is a small shop on the site selling toys, sunscreen etc, but during our stay important issues...

We decided to book this hotel because we wanted a place near the archeological site of Palenque and stayed there for four nights. We were four adults: my husband and our son and daughter who are in their late teens. The four of us loved the experience because the hotel is located in the jungle. The cabin is rustic and...

Don't expect much from this place and you will not be dissapointed. We've stayed here for one night while visiting Palenque archeological sight, and location is superb, but not the place itself. The hotel has seen better days, rooms are shabby, very simple and not perfectly clean (I found hairs and hair-pins on the floor beneath the bed). Mayan style...

I had a great stay and I loved the resort. The staff was super friendly and the surrounding was perfect. If you want to have a nice experience in the 'jungle' but staying in a luxe resort ? I would definitely recommend chan-ka. The only thing that it can be really hot and there is not a lot of shadow....

The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, the a/c is welcomed and our cabin's terrace opened to the jungle and a small stream- it gave it a feeling of isolation. It is also a very short distance from the archaeological site. The only issue is that the reception seemed a bit disorganize, and sometimes uninterested. I had booked a massage...

Beautiful hotel, awesome location and it is the perfect place to relax and have an adventure. It is a big hotel inside the jungle which means it's harder to maintain. The adventure of sleeping in a hotel inside jungle is awesome. You can see and hear the animal outside your room and discover new plants including the huge "ceiba" an...

The main attraction of this place is that it's close location to the Mayan ruins and it has a beautiful pool. When we arrived we asked the staff for recommendations for what to do in the area and the woman at the reception shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know (we are Spanish speaking so there is no excuse)....
