We stayed at Chan-Kah for 3 nights in July. We booked the room online for 2 nights, and then decided to add an extra night once we arrived. The spot is absolutely beautiful - it's a 5 minute taxi ride to the Mayan Ruins and it's easy to get a combi on the road (although for our family of 4...

This resort has many things to recommend, a great pool and beautiful gardens which are just an extension of the surrounding jungle. Guests get a cottage or bungalow each with spacious accommodation. You will hear the monkeys shouting at each other, sometimes in the middle of the night, and there are harmless Common Agouti Rodents wandering about. On the minus...

Out of the main town of Palenque and located near the Mayan ruins in the jungle, this resort village caters for large groups as well as traveling couples. Good looking pool, buffet breakfast and decent looking rooms.

We arrived late in the afternoon after a full day at the ruins. We were hot and sweaty and arrived at a beautiful oasis. The pool is just beautiful and the entire setting is amazing. rooms large and comfortable beds. Could have spent another day here just relaxing with a drink by the pool.

This is a large hotel, but it seems to be well run and is comfortable as a base for nearby Palenque ruins (about 10 minutes drive away). The rooms are set amongst lush vegetation with pretty walkways between them. Our room was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. It is quite far into the town if you...

Going to Palenque you're really not there to stay in a nice hotel but this place is the exception. The pool is magic after a big expedition in the ruins, the rooms are beautiful and you're really close to the national park. Only thing was that the food was average at best however in this neck of the woods -...

This place is very special, in the middle of the jungles! In the morning you can watch the animals walking by your terrace. The pool at night is amazing - must to swim;) The food in the restaurant is not so tasty and really expensive and the waiters are a little snob, asking for more tips.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 night in our way to visit the ruins. Very convenient, excellent service and food. We had all our meals beautifully presented every day. We appreciated very much having help with our luggage, since the parking lot is far from the rooms.

We stopped here to visit the Palenque ruins. This place has a wonderful swimming pool that allows you to relax after the exhausting visit to the ruins. Rooms are also nice, but forget the food, for that go to any other place in Palenque, otherwise your Palenque experience will be ruined.

The location of this resort for the ruins at Palenque could not be better. We had a villa with 2 rooms and use of a smaller pool, along with the main one, right outside our door. The main pool is quite big and apart from the green floating debris that stained my son's rash top, it is a great asset....
