Situated at the foot of one of the peaks of Beskid Maly - Czarny Gron (793 m above sea level), in a picturesque valley, the centre has plenty to offer to anyone interested in active leisure, both in winter and summer. Due to its unique microclimate and great natural beauty, the area has long been popular among tourists.

Our centre offers a wide range of quality accommodation to suit all budgets, including the luxurious Hotel & SPA**** with excellent sports and recreational facilities, cosy rooms in the PUB, guest houses and log cabins suitable for up to 6 people, and all this spiced up with wonderful Polish cuisine offered by the PUB and the CZARNY GRON restaurant.

In winter, try our modern SKI Centre featuring a lighted slope. An alternative to skiing in winter is the ice skating rink which transforms into a tennis court in the summer season.

I can gladly reccomend this hotel to all of you who search for very good service, good food, relaxing spa and good skiing. we had one of the luxury rooms ( the romantic one ) and that was huge with a very luxury bathroom. the spa and pool area could be bigger, but was really nice. the saunas were not overcrowded although it was peak season. the staff at reception, in the restaurant and in the spa were very proffesional and service minded. the one thing i can say i was missing was indoor gym. a very special thanks and appreciacion to the best employee - the driver of the ski bus - Mr Jacek - all cred for happiness, perfect service level

The service here is fenomenal. The hotel itself looks great and you have good selection of food. Rooms are specious, cozy and very fresh. There is a tennis court and a pool area which is also top notch. I have nothing to complain about.

Caveat: The other reviewers cannot be taken seriously. This is NOT one the best hotels and so on.... The main building is not beautiful architecture wise! As a restaurant I would recommend the one over the street at the rivulet. Spa is great. Breakfast even for vegan nice and personell friendly. The room in the main building w balcony was totally ok, but nothing special. We did a wonderful hike up the mountain which took over 4hrs and was totally worth it. But mind the ticks! A really nice place to go for a hike. 5 points despite the underwhelming architecture.

Very quiet hotel because it is located at the end of the world. :)))) The room (for 2 persons) was clean. The bathroom was medium size but adequate for our needs. It must be beautiful in winter, the "Czarny Groń" ski slope is not far away.

The Czarny Gron (The Black Grape in English) does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing, clean and modern with a view of the mountainside that cannot be beat. We visited their spa and experienced the best couples massage and pedicures we have ever had. The food was delicious. I would have liked a different menu for lunch and dinner but that being said, the menu offered many different choices. It should be noted that this is a family friendly resort so there are many families with children here, however, the children were so well behaved that it was ever an issue. Most staff spoke very good English and those who did not put forth a great effort. (We used google translate to ask a question about Registered Massage Therapist Numbers etc. The venue is stunning and I really cannot say enough about how positive our experience was here. I just wish it was closer to home, Canada, so we could visit often.

Last week me&Nataly&Joanna organised a Day Away for Shell OTD Team Kraków. We arrived at 1pm. and welcomed with delicious lunch (vegeterian and vegan options feasible). After our luggage had been left at hotel deposit, we started guided tour and hiking up one mile to Ermitage on the Czarny Groń (Black Peak 700m.o.s.l.). At 4pm. come back and chillaxing time. Ten fit of us were playing volleyball for 120 minutes, other just taking sun bath. At 6pm. we visited excellent wellness SPA. First herbal sauna (temp.70C) than steamy sauna (80C), last dry sauna (90C). Swimming pool with jacuzzi were nice too. At 8pm. dinner-grill party. Open bar till 2am. with straightforward service. Waiters response for our wishes in few seconds! DJ Dello YT dancing at the local Inn OBERZA let us have fun. Early morning some of us did jogging to Madohora 901m. One km. upstream is the SKI pist with chairlift, good hotel facility for winter guests. From 7am till 10am breakfast buffet with full range of fruits, fish, meat, milk and coffee (espresso, cappucino etc.) We were having breakfast on the terrace with picturesque panoramic view on the Beskid Mountains. Tranquility and magic flair let us chillax from troubles and anxiety. All of us i.e.50 Shell People got empowered with new positive ideas. Our bus arrived at 12pm. to take us home to Kraków (only 70 minutes drive). Highly recommended by Tomguide Cracow Guides Pomorska. Tomasz Rączkowski Shell Otd DSSS DACH Team Czerwone Maki Kraków

Hotel is located in a beautiful area and well suits the mountainous landscape (it takes about half an hour to get here from Bielsko-Biała). It offers many amenities like the Spa (located below the ground floor), an indoor pool, a rink or rooms designed for children. The ski slope is located about 1500 m from the hotel which offers an hourly shuttle service. However, there is no possibility of leaving the skiing equipment in a room designed for it. You have to either leave the equipment on the slope or keep it in Your room. Breakfast and dinner buffets are included in Your stay, while the two restaurants are open up till 10 pm and enrich the time with lovely music (I visited Czarny Groń during Christmas). Staff is really kind and ready to help You. The hotel is a perfect place for a short winter 'escapade'.

The hotel's location is perfect at the and of the valley. It is not to big which is good. It is up to high standards specially if you are looking for something similar in the area. I can imagine it is great if you are there for skiing. The ski resort is just 2-3 km away. The rooms are very clean and modern. SPA is just great! The treatments are provided very professional. They are very relaxing. The swimming pool is to small for a good simmer but its great for kids and relaxation and I think it is its purpose. Food was very good ( self service - breakfast and dinner ) There is a la carte restaurant too or another restaurant across the road which belongs to the hotel too. Mainly traditional polish food with hint of highlanders cuisine. Heavy but very tasty :D Staff was great! In fact one of the best services I have ever experienced. Recommended to everybody! It must be great in winter time too.

Pros: - Beautiful surroundings - Plenty of activities in place - Tasty food Cons: - Beds are separate in 2 person room. No way to put them together. They slides apart. - No fridge - Bad smell in toilet due to bad plumbing - Weekend party in Oberza till 3:00 AM with very loud door slamming all the time due to outside smokers. - No "silence zone" in swimming pool. If you want to relax there, forget about it.
