Great accomodation in safari tents and beautiful white beach with clear waters, this place is very quite and peaceful. Ask for the safari tent that is the only one facing the sunset, just perfect as you can bbq your own meals. The restaraunt is very well equipt and "Jelly" the Chef cooks the best meals, open for breaky, lunch and dinner....

Stayed here at the end of January for 3 nights in a beach shelter. Perfect is all I can say. Imagine waking to a lightning show over the sea while ur still under the stars, boiling the Billy for a cuppa, stoking the fire and sitting watching the storm as the lighthouse sweeps across a moon lit Indian Ocean. Sheer bliss!...

Hi tramo74, Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for your feedback. We absolutely loved having the gourmet gypsies stay with us at Kooljaman. What a fabulous time of year you chose to come up, although it was hot, you had the place to yourselves. Although we know you will be home now, after a lovely long trip,...

It's difficult to say where the best beach in the world is but anyone who claims the title will have difficulty convincing me it's better than the one adjacent to Kooljaman at Cape Leveque. The beach is perfect fine white sand stretching away over the horizon with an aqua sea. You can see for 30 kms and there will often...

Absolutely breathtaking views from your little beach shanty on the beach, lovely swimming with gentle waves and deep water only metres from the shore. The walks up the beach were very relaxing and above all, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food in the restraurant was beautiful and reasonable. Only thing was we had to put our...

A beautiful spot after a long rugged drive to get there. Cabins and safari tents are the main priority with the small camp area fairly neglected and campers crowded in a random manner. The old amenities block is the main issue old and rundown and out of keeping with the upmarket style of the restless of the resort.

We managed to snare a single night booking in a Family Safari Tent at Kooljaman. Having been disappointed with the accommodation provided at another location just off the Cape Leveque Road the previous night, we could not have been any more impressed with the Family Safari Tent at Kooljamin. We stayed in Gidwann which is the most elevated Family Safari...

Had a wonderful time at Cape Leveque, its certainly worth the drive for the natural beauty. We stayed in a cabin (with ensuite). Fairly basic but it was clean, literally 100m from a beautiful swimming beach, had a fridge for supplies, mosquito nets for the beds etc. We ate at the restaurant and it was nice, some of the dishes...

We really enjoyed this place. Average prices, hot showers, powered sites but you're asked to try to conserve power as they operate on solar and diesel. We had a really large shady site which rocked. Owned by traditional owners providing great jobs for the community. Service was excellent. I've noticed some negative comments on restaurant, we only had a light...

Although we visited in a very busy period and didn't book in advance, the people at the reception helped us find a campsite for three nights. We had a beautiful campsite with seaview and it felt like we were on our own. At night it was very quiet. You could sit at the restaurant to view the sky full of...

We've been travelling all around Australia and this was definitely one of our favourite places and most unique experiences. The campground is in a great spot and you can walk down to watch the sunset over the red cliffs every afternoon. We had the best time doing Bundy's Spear-making tours and it was an experience that we have really treasured....
