Takes around 3-4 hours from Colombo if you come through the southern expressway. And a very easy drive. The adventure starts when you park your car and trek 15minutes up a jungle path to get to your tent. 3 very private luxury tents in 25 acres of land surrounded by a forest

We stayed one night and a full day at Ahaspokuna Bushcamp. We did really enjoy the experience. First of all, it won’t be possible to find the camp by yourself since you have to be picked up by your guide to walk 15 min to the camp, right in the middle of the jungle. It makes the

It was like something out of a wilderness fairytale. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the half day bushwalk was an amazing experience, and the "tent-suite" certainly lived up to its name! Our adventure holiday was certainly unforgettable!

The Star bed. One could sleep at night or spend couple of hours watching the stars.
The best place to fall asleep.... gazing at the stars
Your own luxury bed right in the middle of a tent!
Hello, At Ahaspokuna a recorded number of nearly 80% of our customers have sighted elephants on the full day bush walk. However the concept of the bush walk is not to search for big animals but to enjoy the wilderness in its true sense as the trails go through pristine untouched wilderness, at times in complete isolation with nature. Ahaspokuna Bush Walk Camp does offer a safari park environment, nevertheless we can arrange a safari to Udawalave National park where the travel time is around 30 minutes. We are happy to answer and provide details of if you have further queries. Please write to us through our website.
