Buffet main course was served by staff. only salads, soups and desserts were free for guests to get as needed.(pretended the system was to prevent Corona but then why not for salads, soups, buns, and desserts???) Pool attendant was very rude. Staff at restaurant were also rude as well.During the night buffet restaurant was full and many guests including us did not have proper tables to have dinner and when asked from the staff they were hesitant to arrange idling tables in the corner and asked us (a group of 9 people with little kids) to sit outside under a canopy on a rainy day. Only when complained they took action to prepare a table for us. Other facilities were ok and rooms were clean.

Overall it is a good experience .but need to improve some points.staff is friendly and specially i want to mention Mr.sisira in all day dinning restaurant.he is very friendly and giving attention to the guest all the time whic i was noticed during my stay.and keep some phone chargers at the reception because i was staying 3nights and i forgot to bring my phone charger when i checking.but when i ask the phone charger from the frontoffice they simply say the don't have.but as a 4 star hotel they should have this kind of items for the guest.during my stay i didn't use my mobile.and one more thing when you want to check the body temperature every day plz inform the guest when they checking then we can come to the reception when we finish the breakfast.this is the bad experience that i had during my stay.frontoffice need to be more active.

WOW!!! Where do we begin?? A perfect engagement venue and an event meticulously planned during the COVID19 crisis , Pegasus Reef Hotel and Samanmali and the whole team will always have a special place in our hearts for giving us the most incredible week and day of our lives in planning and executing an awesome engagement event. We really can't think of words special or perfect enough to describe the whole experience. It all began from the first contact made with Samanmali at Pegasus Reef. From the first email, it was clear to see how helpful and professional Samanmali was. She was very efficient on emails and only at the end of the phone if we needed any help at any time. It was simply....nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We knew from the word go, that this was the person to trust to give our sisters engagement that's exactly what Pegasus Reef/ Samanmali did! Every detail was perfect and they were so accommodating to our needs, working with Samanmali and the rest of the Pegasus Reef staff was a delight and made the whole wedding planning process a breeze! They’ve done many weddings and events and it’s a very fine establishments also a very comfortable and convenient location. The food was mouthwatering amazing, our guests couldn’t get enough! Everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection and the Chef went out of the box to assist in preparing an delicious and presentable menu. The hotel was clean and had a nice atmosphere for our event, the staff were pleasant and polite and willing to help in any way they could. Our hotel room we stayed for the event was clean and proper, it had everything a good room should have. All in All the Pegasus Reef Hotel made our sisters big day go as smoothly as it could’ve gone, everything from the planning and prepping down to the next few days after the wedding, they really know how to make you feel at ease and at home over there! Thank you to General Manager (Amila), Banquet Manager (Kasun), (Event Coordinator (Samanmali) and the whole team at Pegasus Reef for making our dreams come true and giving us a fairytale engagement for our sister. You are all absolutely incredible and we will always be so grateful to you all.

My whole family, me, wife and three kids went on a weekend getaway to this beautiful hotel on 27th and 28th June, which incidentally was our honeymoon hotel 24 years back. I have visited for weddings and other events many times but this was the first time we stayed in two of the new wing rooms. Rooms were spacious and neatly furnished with all luxury amenities, service staff were courteous and adhering to strict Covid19 protocols, Had some tasty club sandwiches in room and they were a delight. We had three meals and i should say they were all worth sumptuous and delicious, mostly worth the package, I loved the Roasted pork glazed with honey, and the beef steaks, also the local pork, and fish dishes were a treat. My wife and kids enjoyed a perfect stay. a big thumps up for the front desk staff who were very efficient in our check in check out again with strict "no contact" protocols. Big thank you to Mr. Athula for ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
