Room in the new wing was clean and comfortable with a pleasant verandah area. There were problems with electricity supply but seemed to get solved each time after a period of outage. Shower took a long time to get warm and sometimes a cold shower was the only option. Staff made every effort to assist us and were very pleasant....

Stayed two nights as part of a group tour. Site is on two levels with a difficult walk from bottom to top - where the restaurant is. Accommodation consists of 12 rustic 'cabins' at the lower level plus 6 more modern rooms at the top of the site. We stayed in one of the top rooms which overlook a lush...

We stayed one night. The lodge's location near the entrance to the forest is spectacular. Our rooms were spacious and clean and cool. The young staff were friendly. But this same staff were poorly managed, hanging around chatting rather than attending to the guests. My principal criticism is of the catering which was alright at best (included breakfast) and disgraceful...

The room was quite large and clean. Bed comfortable with decent clean linens. Good towels and toiletries. Water pressure a bit low. Shower curtain a bit moldy. Let the water run a while to get hot. The sink drain dripped onto the floor some. The A/C is noisy and has basically two settings - off and really cold, but there's...

Being very near to the sinharaja entrance it is very convenient for travelers. However housekeeping was very very poor. When I got in the morning...

A chalet with 2 rooms. Each room is correctly furnished. We were very close to the road and it was a little bit noisy. No swimming pool and the river can't be considered as a swimming pool. The reception is under construction and the owner is not so kind, must do efforts hosting the clients. Diner on a buffet basis,...

I stayed here for two nights with a birding tour group. Staff on the grounds are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spartan but relatively clean, given that this is a lodge in the jungle. The meals are served buffet-style with limited choices, but well-prepared. The take home message is, don't expect 5-star Parisian luxury...you're in the jungle!

The place is situated very close to the entrance of the rainforest - and that is very practical. But apart from that I would suggest a change in how the place is managed. The whole place is quite messy with used linen and towels, bottles and things from the rooms lying around the whole day. In the restaurant clean and...
