We had a suite. Very satisfied with the room. Soft beds. Lot of space. Classy furniture. Close to centre of Røros and hiking in the mountains. Nice breakfast included. SPA also. Dinner is served untill 11 o'clock in the evening. The SPA is very nice - was still under construction as we were there. Be aware that childeren are allowed... More

We went to Røros with a 1-year old and the hotel was perfect for us. New swimming pool, interesting play area for kids from 1 to 10(?) years. Located 2 min away from a starting point for different routes to hike short or long trips in the mountain. Very good service and food (specially the breakfast was nice).

We stayed for one night with our five-year old son. Our room was in the wing near the spa area, which was excellent for us. The room was clean, nice and quiet. Our son liked the play area and LOVED the spa, and so dis his parents. We had buffet for dinner -with a lot of nice, local foods. Children's... More

The food at this hotel is great, they have a focus on local product wich is great. This time I stayed in another part of the hotel, straight down the hall from the reception. This room was much cleaner and better kept than the room I had in the older part of the hotel. Room had a good size with... More

This our 17th stay at the hotel over equal number of years and this time we were allocated a double room in old section 2nd floor. Unfortunately we found room, toilet and not least bed on the small side. Ask for the newer section - rooms much better. Nice hotel, great paintings on the walls and the breakfast is really... More

I always try and get a room in the new wing as I enjoy the comfort of these rooms. The lobby is large, but has some good places to sit by the fireplace, or by a large window to observe the weather sweeping across the landscape. Breakfasts are nice, and they strive to provide local foods. Pool and sauna are... More

You arrive to well sign posted directions to hotel. Car park is huge at furthest end . Those with camper homes would have no problem fitting . Well the room we had was very tatty, at the end of a long corridor. Checked out some of the other rooms which were much better and a small extra charge. Should have... More

We stayed for a weekend at this hotel, and were very satisfied. Nice and large room with typical Norwegian styled furnishment, good bathroom, good breakfast and good service. They even had ski equipment available. Some parts of the hotel are somewhat older, but you can see they are working on that. The hotel is suitable for individuals, but also for... More

The twinbed was extremely soft and rather small. We did not sleep good. The breakfast was fine. Beautiful location, but a little outside the city center. Very expensive, but that was probably due to the annual Røros market.

Although the old part of the hotel is getting a bit worn, the reception area and bar is upgraded. The restaurant is well suited to host larger groups. But it is the food that makes it all worth while. The local food is excellent; a lot of food to choose from supplied with information about its origin. This time I... More
