I traveled all around the back of the hotel after recieving misleading guidance. Upon my re-entry of the recepion, their only explanation is that they had told management about the lack of decent signs, but they choose not to do anything about it. The access was packed with slippery ice and dangerous

This hotel has a variety of rooms. We stayed in the renovated textile factory which is at the back of the hotel. There is no reception desk - you check in at the bar. There was only one person present so he had to juggle between serving customers and checking people in. The room we were in was spacious but...

This charming hotel evokes the atmosphere of a past mining life and is situated right in the centre of town amongst very well preserved old buildings. The rooms are spacious and well appointed in several old buildings within the hotel precinct and ooze with atmosphere. The staff go out of there way to attend to your requirements and there is...

We received a recommendation for this restaurant from a local. We ate here twice while in Roros. Food was very good and service was great. They weren't very busy and I had asked a question about the beer so the waitress took us downstairs to tour the brewery. Very unexpected but very much appreciated

The hotel has rooms in several old buildings downtown, and there are hardly two rooms that look the same. I have stayed here several times and always come back. This time I came with a friend. I would have preferred to have a double room with two beds, but there are none of that sort. however, the bed was the...

Stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the chalet style accommodations and it was lovely. It had 2 bedrooms, kitchenette and living room. Very rustic. The breakfast was a buffet style affair of meats, cheeses, breads and fish. Roros is a delightful town with a rich history. Do make the effort to explore...

We booked here six months in advance, and was greatly looking forward to the stay, and dining in the restaurant. I knew about the unusual check in, so it was no problem to get the key from the bartender, who directed me to use a flight of stairs to enter the detached part of the hotel where our room was...

Vertshuset Røros is situated in charming down town Røros. One of or maybe Norway's most picturesque town. The inn - vertshuset in Norwegian - is just as picturesque placed in several old rustique buildings. We got a nice warm room, which is needed since the temperature might fall to minus 40 celcius in mid winter. But this time it was...

We had a very nice and cozy room with good facilities. The Food an wine was very good. We ordered a Wine-package. Unfortunately they billed us too much for the wine. I wrote them an e-mail about this, and without any discussions they paid me back. Very good customerservice.
