We had a great stay at the Bamboo Lodge! The rooms were comfortable and very eco friendly. The programmes were well organised and the guides were great. We had some lovely meals in the restaurant and the Dahl Bhat was some of the best in Nepal. In the evening we had culture shows from local people which involved singing and...

We are a family of four, with two teenagers and we stayed in two bungalows, which are charmingly named after local birds. We were directed to Chitwan Bamboo Lodge by Paddle Nepal, so after our whitewater rafting trip, the folks from CBL picked us up and took us to their lovely spot. It was the very beginning of the season...

We really had a great time at the bamboo-lodge. Staff was very friendly, food was good and jungle-trip was even better. The guide took good care of us and took us where we wanted. On top of the elephant, in the boat, into the jungle and back to the lodge. He also knew a lot about birds and saw them...

Booked a pakkage to go to this place at my hotel from Pokhara. Shouldn't have done that, arranging everything myself would have been cheaper but the place was amazing anyway. Lovely activities, good food and what I liked most is that it is not so touristy. The staff is so sweet! And also I could really feel they love and...

My daughter and I have stayed for 4 nights at Bamboo Lodge. The lodge is an island of tranquility, the bamboo cottages are well kept. The lodge has got excellent nature guides which can take you on a walking, jeep or elephant back tour into the jungle. We did both the walking tour including a canoe trip on the river...

I had one of the most amazing experiences I've had anywhere and I've traveled for over 30 years to over 30 countries. They do the same things as you see listed at all the resorts but they are small, extremely accommodating, and in a much less touristic area so they can personalize the experience to your particular interests. They are...

This place is the real deal. We wanted to be away from the crowds in the town and have a real jungle experience- this place didn't disappoint. We did the 4 day/3 night package deal (would be better marketed as 3days/3nights but I think they're all the same). It's not luxurious but is super clean with great hot water, there's...

Wanting to get away from the crowds I looked laterally and saw Meguali and took a punt. We were picked up in the jeep and here was where the fun began. The one hour ride was a blast, every schoolkid and others waved and this is a measure to how many tourists go this route (in fact we saw none...
