I stayed at Finca LILO de Biolley for one month as a volunteer on the farm, mainly assisting with the farm animals; goats, cows, and chickens. Jennifer, Bruce, and all of the workers were such great hosts and teachers, and I learned so much about farming and Costa Rican culture while I was here. I am very grateful for Jennifer... More

We stayed for 8 days at this special organic farm in southern Costa Rica. Where to start with the plaudits! We feel we have made new friends in hosts Jennifer and Bruce, volunteer Amira, workers Chris and Junior and our guide for 3 days, Pablo. The accommodation is great value, with very comfortable and well appointed cabins. The views over... More

One would be hard pressed to find a more heavenly experience in Costa Rica. My teens and I started our trip at a resort, and ended it at FInca Lilo de Bioliey. Their farm is very much off the beaten path, and once you arrive you will surely be glad. Out of all of our experiences in CR, this one... More

We had a wonderful time here, the setting is just perfect with waterfall views and mountain vistas. The cabins are of top quality and include everything you would need to enjoy yourself. All kitchen items provided if you decide to cook, although Jennifer's meals are five star and would recommend taking advantage of that. We also loved the coffee and... More

I escaped winter weather in Colorado by booking a two week stay at Finca Lilo de Biolley, just seven miles from the border between Costa Rica and Panama. I'm a writer, and I looked forward to solitude, contemplation, and creativity. I got that: the lush, green landscape and fresh air helped me produce outlines for two books that are now... More
