How many times has it happened to you in the past? You read the reviews on Tripadvisor, make the booking and then when you arrive you wonder if you are staying at the same place the other reviewers stayed at. Well this time you can rest easy (and very comfortably) as we found every word of the Cortijo Piedra reviews...

Had 3 friends with me this time to experience the joy of feeling completely 'at home' with the relaxed hospitality of Anne and Jim. This was a 4 days 'girls' treat and a break away from all the trappings of city living and family commitments in late October. Leaving the wind and rain of the UK behind we lounged by...

This was our third trip to the Cortijo and to see Anne and Jim. As with previous trips we were not disappointed. Their company and hospitality are second to none and our arrival felt like "the return of the prodigal son". We have previously commented that it felt like staying with family and it is still the same feeling of...

We stayed here a few months ago and had the best time ever. We could not have picked a better place to enjoy Andalucia. The location was brilliant to view all the great cities incl Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Marbella. It is well connected to the highway but rests within quiet and serene olive farms. The cottage itself is beautifully built...

We spent a week at Cortijo Piedra last month (July 2013) and had an amazing experience. We found it quite by accident; another B&B owner in the area couldn’t accommodate us and recommended Cortijo Piedra. And how lucky were we! Anne & Jim had just returned from holiday themselves and had not planned on having guests that week but kindly...

I wanted to have a title for this review that sums up our experience at the Cortijo Piedra, and this is it! We stayed here for 3 nights in June as we were in the process of buying a house in the nearby village of Villanueva Del Trabuco. We always look at Tripadvisor reviews when looking for accommodation, and we...

I would recommend that you visit Cortijo Piedra if you are travelling near this part of Spain. It is worth a detour. I visited some months ago and found the environment within this renovated farm house to be quite exceptional. The hospitality I received from Anne and Jim was such that I really felt that they were having as good...

The rooms were beautifully dressed Anne,s department ,and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a log.  Hope to go back in the Summer and take advantage of the lovely big terrace and...
