Had a lovely stay and it truly felt like a home from home. Brian and Rosie were lovely and they made me feel relaxed in their environment from the moment I arrived. I was traveling with my dog (a Beagle). It is extremely dog friendly and when the gate to the driveway is closed they have an enclosed garden so... More

Lovely quiet B&B not 10 mins walk up to Moor! Warm greeting from both Brian and Rosie as well as their cute dogs. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable (too comfortable at times!). Breakfasts were great and filled us up for the day! Recommendations for meals nearby were spot on and so glad we booked those up in advance!

We have been coming to Brook Tor for several years now - and I've been promising to tell the world about Brian and Rosie and their wonderful kindness for most of that time! Eventually, I'm doing it! My Golden Retriever, Tia and I first came here in July 2011 and fell in love with our hosts, the house and the... More

Booked a stay here. Great location and very kind, responsible hosts. Dartmoor Moors are desolate and breath taking. This cottage B and B is a mile or two outside a village. On my way to Brook Tor, I encountered a solitary Moors pony and a phaesant and many sheep. It was all part of the experience! The hosts were very... More

When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Rosie and Brian. We were shown to our room which was very clean and well decorated. I would recommend people to come here. Quiet but has the moors near by.

When we were heading down we realised we were going to arrive much later than we originally intended however Brian waited up to show us to our room. Once in the room we were amazed by the attention to detail; it was cosy, warm and beautifully decorated. There were even Thorntons chocolates, biscuits to enjoy. The room was very clean... More

4 of us stayed here for a night as part of a wedding weekend and we all loved Brook Tor. As everyone else has said here, the owners Brian and Rosie are so friendly and welcoming. Before we'd even unpacked we sat in the very pretty garden, before settling into the very comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast the next morning was delicious... More

As a quiet, nice B&B to stay at while exploring Dartmoor for the weekend, this was perfect. It's five-star rating on TripAdvisor is well-deserved. The room was immaculately presented with nice touches such as bottled water, hot drinks, biscuits and a welcome chocolate. After a long day exploring on the moor, we slept perfectly in a lovely comfortable bed (if... More

We stayed one night with another couple whilst in the area for a wedding. We were greeted warmly even though we arrived early, rooms were clean and well presented with a few personal touches (bottles of water and chocolates). The owner even offered to drop us at the wedding venue nearby (an offer we gratefully accepted). Breakfast was incredible (full... More
