I stayed at this campsite with my family for the bank holiday weekend. Good location and many places nearby which are stunning. The campsite itself was well equipped but the showers got busy and much of the time didn't work too well although there was always an effort to keep the shower and toilet facilities clean which was good. The... More

So we arrived on day one and the campsite seemed nice, clean. I was expecting fire pits but instead was met with random burnt patches of grass where we were told we could have fires. Due to no boundaries on the pitch and uneven surface we had to play around to get a burnt pice of grass in front of... More

Went for long weekend with my 2 boys. Pitched on bottom field by the river. The scenery was amazing and caught a fish and the fact you can have a open fire just made it special. (Wood for sale at shop). Owner was very nice and give a way hundreds of glow sticks to the kids on Saturday night. Local... More

Stayed in August... site is abit sloppy in places, there is fire patches all over the place not sure why they dont have a rule fires off the ground. Toilets and Showers are extremely dirty there is a cleaner cleaning but someone really needs to tell her to change the dirty water she keeps using to mop with... fire wood... More

A GREAT campsite, so relaxing, always enjoy having campfires. Alan, Stuart always make people very welcome. Children can't wait to return next year. Nor can we! Dogs made welcome, dog friendly beach nearby at Walberswick. Lovely walk into the village, fab local butchers, COOP, tea rooms and hardware store. We had a good meal from the local Indian restaurant. The... More

This is one of the best campsites, I have visited with large pitching areas, a brilliant shop, friendly staff, and the best bit open fires! The lovely touch of glow sticks for the kids, was really cool. But the toilets and showers let it down. Sharing men and women toilets, just isn't nice. The showers were a dribble and stayed... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends. Shown a choice of pitches and Alan, the owner, suggested where he thought best, along the trees but not too far from toilets etc. Couples of things really let down this site, first thing that struck me was the amount of litter around the site. Other than the fact that previous campers are... More

This a great campsite for those looking for a laidback, relaxed campsite. They are very chilled here, which reflects in the vibe amongst the campers. We were given a couple of choices where to pitch and chose near the amenities in the end. There's a swing and table tennis along with a snug, seating area and small shop. It sells... More

Went for a few days with friends. We had fantastic pitches down by the river and the swans and their cygnets liked to visit. The site was beautiful, trees, ponds and a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
