I was looking for a spring break somewhere sunny and peaceful to relax and get some time in nature. El Arpa was perfect for this. The owners are lovely and have provided lots of useful advice in the welcome pack. They also provide a little honesty shop at the end of the building which was so useful when I arrived on a Sunday and couldn't find an open shop. A lovely peaceful little haven. I enjoyed horse riding locally, walking the caminito del rey, some hiking in the area and just lying by the lakeside relaxing. Hope to return!

A thermostatic valve in the shower would not be a superfluous luxury because the temperature is very unstable. Very annoying that no bread could be ordered at el arpa, you had to drive 15 kilometers for it. Nice place, shame about the poor service.

Lovely, secluded, quiet apartments with beautiful views, really well equipped and well presented. Good for couples. Good location for sport climbing; walking distance from Desplomilandia and a short drive from other crags.

Basic but comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. There is plenty to do in the area and also a wonderful place to relax and unwind. A good place to stay if you want to walk the Caminito del Rey. I would most definitely return.

A wonderful collection of apartments on the shores of a reservoir, within walking distance of the crags of Desplomilandia. Each apartment is basic but comfortable, and has a table and chairs on the terrace for soaking up the evening sun and taking in the views over the surrounding countryside. There are various restaurants nearby if you fancy eating out, and it's not too far to the nearest town, Campillos, for supplies if you prefer to cook for yourself. There are sun loungers down at the water's edge for rest days, but for us, the best feature was definitely the easy access to the climbing on the hillside behind the apartments. Oh, and they have a handy wee shop on site for the essentials. Recommended.

Once we stepped into El Arpa, we really were taken back about how amazing it was. The scenery is beautiful and the apartment is idellic for those wishing to have time away from the busy city. Rikke and Michael were welcoming hosts and they were very helpful throughout our stay. We stayed on the ground floor, which was lovely. Rooms are great for two and the area around El Arpa is great for exploring. Our stay in Spain was one of our most treasured holidays.. Mainly because El Arpa was so amazing. Definitely recommend!

Very nice environment and view. The rooms are clean and very kind people. Our holidays was the perfect mix of cityhopping (sevilla/granada) and the rest of El Arpa. A (rental) car is a must for this location! We can recommand it!
