I thought I'd add another english review since I will 100% be returning to this little gem. I'll start by saying this is a wonderful resort for english speaking tourist. Bruno, the owner and chef extraordinaire, gives this place the relaxed and welcoming environment that the setting already provides. He speaks english and will give you the whole run down of the place, complete with dog lead excursions to the many waterfalls surrounded the hotel. Bruno also makes some of the best pasta you'll find not only in Brazil, but anywhere I've been. A unique menu each night. I was amazed by the selection and quality of all the dishes we tried. In short, the food is worth the trip alone. If you're looking for a romantic escape far secluded from the hustle and bustle of modern life, then I really can't recommend this place enough. My only wish is that I had booked 3 days instead of 2. I could have definitely spent another day exploring the wonderful trails and waterfalls.…
The rooms are in nice sheds spread out on the flank of a mountain. The view on the valley is amazing and at night you can count the stars. In the area there are several routes to walk in nature. On the way you'll find rivers and waterfalls, providing an oppurtunity for a refreshing dive. The breakfast is delicious. The bathroom is clean. The people are friendly.
I went to the Pousada Sete Quedas a few weeks ago for the wedding of a friend. The place is absolutely amazing. The houses are really cozy. The breakfast is fantastic, with natural juices, homemade cakes, eggs, jam, cheese, pan de queso,... The owners were always there to answer any question or help us, specially Bruno. Also there is a really nice route to walk around the Pousada to see the seven waterfalls that surrounded the area. It is absolutely worth it, this place is a gorgeous!!!
We stayed at the Pousada Sete Quedas for three days for the wedding of a friend. The place could not be more beautiful, and Bruno and the rest of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Very nice breakfast too. The place has various natural waterfalls you can go refresh yourself, or, if you prefer, a sauna and swimming pool to relax. Can only recommend the place.
I went to Carrancas with my parents and my boyfriend in November and we stayed 3 days at the posada 7 Quedas. The view from our little houses were stunning!! The breakfast and the café in the afternoon with cakes, tea, fruitjuice etc. was very delicious! We also tried the not-included dinner, which is selfmade pasta. It was so good, that we odered it again the next day. What we really enjoyed was the fact, that there are many waterfalls close by. Just a 2 minute walk and you are in an other world. We were very impressed, that besides the swimming pool, the posada even has a sauna!
