I am a regular at Newport and this B&B is one of the best I have stayed in. Its quiet, peaceful, has very well appointed & clean rooms with comfy beds & a great shower (some rooms have bath tubs but not all). Hot Breakfast is cooked to order with a nice complimentary spread of cold cuts, yogurts, fruits, juices,...

I recently stayed at The Celtic Guest house in Lianmartin with my sister and elderly mother. Although my mother is very able for her age i did notice there was good disabled access and fittings in the bathroom should they be required. The warm and professional welcome we received set the standard for our short two night stay as nothing...

We stayed here for one night and the location was perfect. The room was lovely with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. It was a short walking distance to a very nice pub & restaurant along the road. However our stay was marred by a faulty smoke detector which set off the alarms @ 4.30am!! Everyone had to evacuate outside in the...

We stayed at this guest house for two nights in June and absolutely loved it. The manager, Sue, was so helpful and charming and made our stay really worthwhile as she suggested very useful bits of advice, from places to eat and things to do in the area. The room was modern, fresh and very clean. The breakfast was elegant...

I stayed here when I came to Wales for a friends surprise birthday party and The Old Rectory was a great choice. Check in was 4pm as advertised but due to changes in my plans I arrived much earlier and wasn't expecting to be able to check in but as I sat in my car in the car park waiting...
