No issues but this is def not 5* It's more like a trust house forte style rooms with posh taps Very polished website gives a false impression. Continental breakfast only so nothing warm served at all. Very prefab style but expensive furniture Expensive for what it is

My mum and I stayed here for one night whilst we went to see Beyoncé in Cardiff so it was a flying visit. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted clean, reasonably priced compared to the £200 at the cheapest they wanted in Cardiff,l and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment on that however Sue did... More

Excellent room with lots of oak woodwork and designer lighting. Room had an excellent rain forest shower and air conditioning. Nice touch was also the honesty box as there are no shops in the area. Very quiet area and well thought out black out curtains gave a great nights sleep. Nice continental breakfast of toast, cereals, fruit, ham and cheese... More

Just wanted to say thanks so much for a lovely stay and making our wedding night extra special for us by adding your special touch to the room. The room was amazing and unique. Loved the breakfast and would definitely recommend staying here whether it's for leisure, business or a romantic stay. It's in a great location away from the... More

We booked three rooms for two nights to attend a family wedding. Lovely clean comfortable rooms with fantastic rain forest showers in all the bathrooms. A lovely quiet location with lovely garden and plenty of parking. There was a fresh fruit and continental breakfast served on Saturday morning and freshly made scrambled eggs and toast. On the Sunday morning it... More

A beautiful guest house which oozes quality, I stayed in Parker and Leah on my two visits, much nicer than room 1 and 2; and following a night in a Holiday Inn a world away from the big hotel chains. The service provided by Sue and her colleague was top notch, lovely breakfast with freshly cooked scrambled eggs, true home... More

Firstly when we pulled up it didn't look like a 5* establishment! The room was nice, but the smell from the bathroom put us off It smelt like a sewer??? Was really bad first thing in the morning. Not what you expect wherever you stay 😷 .

I have not given a bad review yet because every time we go away I first check on Tripadvisor, so the Celtic guest house is no exception it deserves its rating:- large clean room with one of the biggest and best showers I have ever used, we didn't have breakfast, because the rest of the wedding Party were across in... Small guest house with nicely decorated rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The people who work there are very friendly and help with recommendations for places to visit and eat. It is only small, 6 rooms, and they'll do a nice continental style breakfast and eggs. Too small for evening meals but there is a large pub which does... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the master Suite. Superb room with excellent facilities, very very well thought out. Also had a look at a couple of other rooms, the standard of the property is very high and thoughtfully appointed. Sue the manageress is a STAR and was so helpful and considerate . This a exceedingly good place to stay .
