I'm not quite sure how to describe this place. It is an old mill and hostel allegedly used by the Musketeers, miles from anywhere to the south of Tours. We had the "Eternitie" suite, which is certainly comfortable in a traditional French style - huge bed, silk wall decorations, nice antique French furniture. The bathroom is along a short corridor - we though at first it was shared and then realised it was part of our room! Comfortable and a good night's sleep.

The restaurant is equally "interesting". We were invited to take dinner with the owners in their restaurant. There is no "carte", just the menu du jour, all locally sourced, organic food. Very good it is, too. The restaurant is a huge converted barn, but with background music and a very nice ambiance. Wine is by the glass, selected for each course. The grounds are lovely - there's a sun patio, a large outdoor pool and riding stables.

Breakfast is equally as good as dinner...

Located in the middle of French countryside we stayed in the Zen suite which was very well presented in a faux Japenese format. This I found very strange for such a lovely Old coaching Inn used by Musketeers! I would much prefer to see traditional French decor rather than trying to 'boutique' the stay. Slept well.
Restaurant was fantastic. Very well decorated and welcoming. No menu. Food purchased by the chef that morning was cooked and served. Prentation worthy of a Michelin star.
Advice: Watch the pricing. Room rate ok, dinner tends to increase during the meal (wine by the glass for example) breakfast is extra but not worth it.
