Just so beautiful, nice long drive, beautiful gardens inside stunning. Great venue for wedding, business, parties. Fits about 60 in main room, there is another to. Plenty of space without seeming empty. Food been here twice and both times just as good. Has a few rooms if you wanted to stay over. Staff great service well looked after.

However, if booking find out if there are any parties on whilst you are there and if there are, request a room away from the front. The reason for this is...

Location and price were the reasons for choosing to stay here and the convenience of the hotel's restaurant. Very welcoming, clean and a very comfortable arm chair in the room. In-room wiFi was excellent. Shower was hot and powerful- but too powerful for the over-bath with side screen arrangement- this will give the hotel structural problems in the long run....

Took my parents for christmas lunch and they absolutely loved it.The service was very good. The hotel is lovely and the views from the dining room are wonderful. We had the melon starter and one had the butternut and prawn tartlet. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it.We all opted for the turkey main which was delicious, resulting in four empty plates. For dessert three...

Mention Stoke on Trent and most people think of Potteries, bottle kilns and Wedgwood. So be prepared to be surprised with Upper House, set in 90 acres of lush, verdant grounds, with the house beautifully maintained and first class silver service. I will mention the food at this point as it was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. So please keep your imagery of...

The original building is stunning with many of the original features and a wood burning fireplace in the living room. Various extensions have been tastefully added for...

Very comfortable room, as we have come to rely upon. Friendly staff, and excellent evening meal. Best of all (for us), a very quiet night's sleep. We'll be back next year when we revisit the area, and many thanks.

lovely hotel, a great welcome and very professional service. the room was clean and had everything you needed. the bed very comfy. i think it had been recently decorated. the only small downside was breakfast, they ran out of essentials, such as marmalade. although the cooked breakfast was very nice.
