I feel I should write to express my disappointment of an evening we had on December 19th. A group of 8 of us had booked for a special meal together. Some of us had been to the Upper House before and had enjoyed good service and courteous attention in your lovely surroundings. Unfortunately on this occasion there was no welcome...

We have just completed a four day stay at the Upper House and had a great visit! The Staff is very warm and friendly, and they are genuinely interested in the comfort of their guests. We felt as if we were visiting with friends. From the receptionists, to the managers, to the wait staff and the chef in the kitchen,...

The venue was perfect; with exceptional thought to detail. Our room was extremely comfortable with the bed just right for two just oldies and tied parents. The morning food nice; but getting up for eight o’clock difficult after going to bet late. The gardens so splendid

Spent New Year's Eve here at a family party for my cousins birthday. The staff are brilliant, the food was lovely and the night was fantastic. My children also loved the firework display at the end of the night. The only downside is that we couldn't spend the night due to work but we will look to come again

We were given a refurbished room. Very nicely decorated and spacious. Large jacuzzi bath and shower with lashings of hot water. Beautiful peaceful setting. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was enjoyable.

nice as the sandwiches were, we felt there were too many cakes and not enough sandwiches. two trays of sandwiches would have been better, followed by a jam and cream scone. if you have a sweet tooth then you will be fine. at least we got additional pots of tea and coffee. we didn't feel it was value for money.

We went for afternoon tea today I would highly recommend it! Lovely staff, delicious food, wonderful surroundings what more can you ask for? A beautiful sunset maybe, well we got that too!! Also you could tell they had been very busy but it did not affect the service in any way.

Just so beautiful, nice long drive, beautiful gardens inside stunning. Great venue for wedding, business, parties. Fits about 60 in main room, there is another to. Plenty of space without seeming empty. Food been here twice and both times just as good. Has a few rooms if you wanted to stay over. Staff great service well looked after.

This is a good place to stay for visiting Wedgewood and Trentham Gardens. The house itself original belonged to the Wedgewood Family and the period atmosphere has been maintained. However, if booking find out if there are any parties on whilst you are there and if there are, request a room away from the front. The reason for this is...

Location and price were the reasons for choosing to stay here and the convenience of the hotel's restaurant. Very welcoming, clean and a very comfortable arm chair in the room. In-room wiFi was excellent. Shower was hot and powerful- but too powerful for the over-bath with side screen arrangement- this will give the hotel structural problems in the long run....
