This is my second over night stay at this delightful little guest house, in the same room. The facilities are excellent, especially the modern walk-in-shower with heated bathroom floor for this disabled young lady! I was surprised to find a fridge as well, and tea and coffee is on hand all the time. And they provide a full English breakfast...

Stayed here one night after a trip to alton towers with the kids. Brilliant location and very welcoming owner. Excellent value for the price paid with comfy beds. Room we had was nice if a little crowded but perfectly adequate although let down by dated en suite. Would stay again if in the area.

It was an unexpected stay in Stoke-on-Trent after a very challenging day on the personal front. All the other hotels were fully booked and Verdon was the only place that had one last room available. I grabbed it and in hindsight, I am glad that the other hotels were all booked because I found Verdon to be the unsung hero...

We wasn't very impressed with the room. We booked on Friday 13th May 2016 and was told our booking of a ensuite room was confirmed. Later that day the proprietor rang to say we couldn't have a ensuite due to them being booked up,the excuse was that the website wasn't updating quick enough. I'm disgusted in this as this is...

Reasons for my repeated stays here include the central location to Hanley, very friendly proprietor and reasonable rates. The cost has gone up in the year since my last visit but on the positive side, cleanliness has improved and it still represents reasonable value for a B&B/Guest House. The double room I stayed in this time was lovely and large...

The place was that bad the pillow cases had fag burns in, it was cleaner not to have a shower, it smelt of dogs and damp. I was bitten on my stomach in the bed and had 5 massive bites for the next week that itched like hell. Friendly owner but horrible place
