Gutkowa Koliba is a family-owned, ecoturistic small guest house, located in a wild and almost uninhabited area of Beskid Niski, a mountain range within the Carpathians, SE Poland. After years of planning and dreaming, we have moved permamently to the the mountains and constructed the stylish, wodden house. We have found our new home here. You can come and feel like home with us. Our guests can enjoy silence and peace. The place offers unique opportunity of direct observation and photographing the wild nature. The locality is a good starting point for sightseeing and mountain excursions. Welcome!

We stayed at the start of May. The house is lovely and the bedrooms very good, with lovely views from the window. Plenty of hot water, it never ran out. The Hosts were exceptional, never been so well looked after. We had B & B and Evening Meal. The food was all freshly cooked and delicious and the servings were much more than i could eat. The Cakes were a delight, baked fresh each day, the Apple Cake was my favourite. It an ideal setting for walkers and you may even see a Brown Bear! The birds were in abundance and if like us are from another country, the host is on hand to translate the type for you. There was a Lesser Spotted Eagle that sat most days on a tree in a field not far from the house. (I only know the name as the host told me) The road to the house is rather bumpy and f driving, slow speed is recommended. We did have quite a bit of rain when we were there, but is was early May, so it was to be expected, but i'm sure it would be simply super in the summer. If you want a holiday away from it all, then this is the place to go, i'm sure anyone would love it as we did.…

This place is much more than just a comfortable and cosy place to stay. The way how its hosts are going to treat you during your stay, how you will be invited to common table, to sit next to a fire, to listen to tales from Beskid Niski - this is the essence of hospitality in Poland. Unforgettable experience and we are going to come back regularly.
