Very nice hotel 1h from Warsaw, on the way to Bydgoszcz. The place is situated in the outskirts of Płońsk, near gas station. Hotel restaurant is worth mentioning - great american food prepared from the best quality ingredients served in modern but very relaxing interiors. In summary - comfortable rooms, low prices, good staff and excellent cuisine!

We should locate this hotel on the map before booking... but we didn't, so we only got ourselves to blame...
This hotel is at the back of petrol station, surrounded by huge lorry park. We stayed there for one night on Saturday, on one of the hottest nights so far - there was no air-con in the room so windows open for the night was a must. One would've thought that it should be a quiet morning on Sunday, but it wasn't. We though the lorries starting early would be an issue, but it was the car wash, located in all the wrong place at the corner of the hotel building, with all the noises waking you up - but who would wash their cars at 7 in the morning on Sunday? Hotel/petrol station staff would (wet cars on local number plates, parked up in hotel car park; we've seen people walking up to them straight from hotel's back door), destroying Sunday morning. Then the breakfast, which is not included in the price, and you have to pay extra, which we did on the arrival on Saturday, getting tokens for our next day meal. But when we got to the restaurant on Sunday morning you should see that huge surprise on restaurant staff faces - the whole place was already set up for first holly communion parties (common thing in May in Poland), and there was no place for us, also they looked like they didn't know we were coming (we checked in around 9pm previous night, so probably there was no comunication between night and morning shifts). Finally we had to have our breakfast (no choice: scrambled eggs with chips and tomato and apple juice) on high chairs at the bar.
Apart from all of that: rooms are on first and second floor, no lift. We found jelly sweets and parts of beer cans between beds and wall. Also a lot of dust.
Again: lesson for us - always check BEFORE you book, but not only read reviews, also the location on google maps. And the price, when you add three breakfasts (and the need to fight for it...) was not that competitive locally after all.
To finish off on slightly positive note: room was quite spacious, with three single beds, modern bathroom with all the appliances working and in good condition. The night receptionist, when we checked-in, was nice, smiley and helpful.

Restrictive breakfast menu. Breakfast is not a buffet where you choose exactly what you want instead you choose from one of 5 options and if you dont want cheese then tough luck cause thats part of your chosen option.
Rooms need proper vacuming (dusty)
BBC World is boring after 10 minutes / lack of non Polish TV Channels.
Sheets clean but not big enough to cover mattress (Unhygenic).
Hot water runs out early in morning time in Winter.
Industrial grade toilet paper.
Some rooms look out on forecourt canopy.
Restraunt food is basic. there is a proper restraunt a few KM away in the Warsaw direction where the food is much better.
