I would like to point out that the Reception staff, the Restaurant staff and the food were all great, but everything else was so bad that I couldn't wait to leave this hotel. I booked for 3 adults on booking.com and reserved a double room for 1 adult and also paid extra for a larger room for 2 people with a double bed with a terrace.. On arrival I was charged ZL15 to use their car park. There is plenty of free street parking close to the hotel. I also noticed that a band were setting up in the function hall of the hotel. I asked Reception what time they were finishing and was advised 10.30pm to 11pm. I then went to my room and found that it had 2 single beds pushed together rather unevenly. The terrace was also just a balcony with a smoking chimney in the middle of it. I asked Reception about this and they said there was nothing they could do. The band ended up playing loudly until 1am and lots of drunken Polish people kept popping out of the function room for a fag and noisy chat right up until 1am. There were also a few trains going by that enjoyed sounding their horns in the early hours of the morning and a few drinks in the street until 4am. Also, at 2.45am I could hear people outside my room door talking or arguing very loudly. I went out of my room and found 2 female cleaners, probably there to clean up the function room, right outside my door chatting very loudly. I asked them to be quiet and they then began to talk even louder and then slammed a few doors. Then at check out the hotel refuse to take my American Exprress card, even though I had reserved the room with it. …
When you are in the area of a famous Trail of the Eagles Nest, don't even hesitate to visit this real culinary jewel in Wolbrom. That's a must! Delicious dishes with elegant presentation never disappointed us, though when in Poland, we are enjoying their delicacies sometimes every day. Never got bored with the menu and never experienced less than excellent and friendly service. Food is tasty, appealing to your eyes and making you promise to come back!
General hotel is good, Good friendly staff, but rooms are horrible. Strong smell from bathroom of sewage, very small rooms, my was 5m. Not sure of Poland legislation but to leave in such small room not possible by health standards.
I can only say you are perfect!!! Rooms, personal, food, place hospitality, everything is excellent and I am really happy that I will be in your place again in 15 days 😉😉😉 next time I must taste something sweet from your kitchen 😉 Do oglądania!!!
I visited Wolbrom on my first day (ever) in Poland. I was travelling with my Polish partner, and keen to try some traditional Polish food. The restaurant has lovely decor, and we ate outside under the woodern canopy. It was still very warm, even in late september. The lunch menu is extensive, and offers all sorts of delicious polish food options. The menu is also in English, which I found SO helpful. I had a fantastic courgette soup, and my partner had an inspired dish of pork inside a pancake, with bacon, cheese sauce and onions. A side of sauerkraut was fabulous. Friendly service and very affordable prices were the icing on the cake for us. I love this place!
