Thanks for an unforgettable vacation. It's incredibly cozy, beautiful, delicious and sincere. We are very enjoyable! It's winter weather here, a wonderful holiday atmosphere. Swimming pools, restaurants, gym. I can imagine how nice it is here for the New Year holidays. For outdoor enthusiasts there are ski slopes and much more. thank you Poles! you are the best neighbors! peace and goodness!
I have spent a lovely week with my mum and my two kids. Hotel is family oriented, have very nice design, big garden and playground. There is nice food, with extra dishes for kids with decorations encouraging them to eat. Nice atmosphere is strengthen by friendly service from all the stuff. Special thanks for kids animator Ms Monika Dziedzic, who is entertaing children in Rogas Club. She is doing fantastic work there! My younger one (even he is under three years old, was asking all the time to go and play). I also enjoyed swimming pool and yoga classes. There is clean and pretty much quiet, even though there were wedding receptions organised downstairs. Option with studio room gives comfort.
This is a very large hotel, somewhat dated, but the rooms were clean and adequate. There was a lovely outside patio area, the bartender was exceptionally accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding, though staff was sometimes scarce.
This hotel was obviously built in the Soviet area, so the rooms are basically single rooms with bed settee to make it a double and the beds are hard. Also incessant noise from the youth centre next door is not good. On the plus side, it is clean, the restaurant and bar are good, and the surroundings beautiful. The swimming pool is fantastic.
If you like to travel off the beaten path and experience local culture - I hope that you can end up in this place some day! It is kinda in the "middle of nowhere" (but a short ride from Cracow). It's a very pleasant, clean and comfortable hotel, just don't expect it to be a "luxury" resort. No frills but very well maintained and you can tell that they are taking great care of the entire property. With that being said - it was one of the best experiences of our lives! We had a blast! I have few Polish friends, and I visited Warsaw and Cracow before - but this is the first time I really experienced the Eastern European culture. These people are so much fun! Slightly reserved at first, they turned out to be wild and uninhibited, really took us out of our comfort zone - and I mean it in the best way. Friendly, generous and open. The hotel provides perfect opportunity to experience real Polish downtime - not in a touristy way. Bonfires, horse sleds, "barn restaurant" with a real regional Polish food and this wild folk music that I never though I could like or dance to! Incredible fish fresh from the stream and vodka everywhere. Once people learn that you're a foreigner they make a special effort to include you, explain everything and show you some good time. It's not always easy to communicate in English, but nobody is discouraged. haha At the same time the incredibly fresh air, crystal clear streams and the wilderness will make you feel relaxed and renewed. The food is absolutely amazing - in the hotel and every place we went to. They are mostly very simple establishments, and even the food itself is a "simple country food", but the freshness is just amazing. The hotel has a large indoor pool, bar, ski lift, simple gym and a spa (beauty treatments, but there is a hot tub and a very cool salt cave. Polish beauty products are actually quite amazing). If you go in the summer, there are patios, tennis court - who knows what else, it's actually a really big complex and we never explored all of it. The countryside all around and mountain hikes are breathtaking. Make sure you take a short road trip to Wieliczka Salt Mine - one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. I can't believe I've never heard of it before. If this place was any closer or more accessible we would go back every year!…
This hotel looks fine form the outside. It's modern and the grounds are really nicely kept. The lobby and common parts are spacious and the bar was fine. However our double room was really just a single room with a single bed and a sofa bed placed end to end (see photo). We complained and were told that all of the double rooms are the same. The hotel is also about 2.5 kilometres out of town up an incredibly steep hill so it's either a taxi ride or a drive to visit the town. Would I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I was in Perla Poludnia for a weekend during the wedding of some friends! This was one of the best weddings I've been, and the views and structure of Perla Poludnia made this experience one of the greatest, dinner on Friday, party on Saturday and great room to sleep, barbecue and party on Sunday and left on Monday after breakfast! All with swimming pool, sauna, spa, pub, green areas and amazing environment!
Usually I stay at Pearl of the South if I go biking with German groups. Especially bird watching lovers enjoyed to chillax there. However very loudly place. Always I got swarms of kids running over lounge and stairs. Rooms are clean but small. Advantage is picturesque view on Rytro village.
I was quite surprised to find so nice hotel in that rather anonymous location. We spent a week there in December/January and enjoyed our stay a lot. Strong points: great food, hardworking and nice staff in all departments (hotel, restaurant, bar), lively and friendly bar, good facilities including sports hall, indoor swimming pool, spa and slope located 150meters away. No surprise that this hotel seems to have lots of returning guests. The only weak point is small rooms. But keep in mind that this hotel was built in 1970s. Although they did a great job renovating it and maintaining in perfect shape, the rooms’ size is a reminder of 1970s era. Overall I strongly recommend – particularly for families with children.
Heaven.Absolutely amazing place.Room, food, staff .... etc etc are incredible. Hotel Perla Poludnia gives you everything you need. Very clean rooms. One of the best breakfasts i have ever seen.Karczma "Nad Potokiem" serves delicious food and Mateusz who looked after us was nr.1 Definitely will come back.
