Lovely location mids in a park, just 40min away from Cracow. Perfect place for an escape or to celebrate with a family or friends. The stuff is very friendly, food very good and their vodkas are the best. Rooms are clean and quiet. But you do need a car or a transfer to get there.
We went there with our 2-month old baby, the very first holidays for him, and were deeply impressed: out of Cracow and still easy to reach, placed in a calm piece of land with a warmly welcoming and perfectly bilingual team that was there for us anytime. They organized a taxi with a baby seat, upgraded us for free to one of their pleasant comfort rooms (with an ample view of the landscape up to the mountains) that awaited us with a baby bed, a changing table and amenities for all three of us. The breakfast was a composition of healthy, organic, local specialities, served in the lovely winter garden. The restaurant with high-art cuisine was covered with portraits of vine dresser from all continents. And not to forget the spa with a wine jacuzzi, sauna and all types of massages, face masks, peeling and so on for a very correct price. Definitely to recommend if you’re looking for a place to relax for the two, three or more of you!…
I feel in love with this place on the spot. It is absolutely gorgeous and, if I lived nearby, I would visit frequently to recharge and get connected with nature. What I loved: - how tranquil and peaceful it was - how charming it was - it had lifts - so very accessible - the staff - friendly, helpful and approachable - location - in the middle of a gorgeous park, surrounded by old trees and singing birds - how intimate it was - it felt beautifully empty even though it was full! - animal friendly - stunning- photos do not give it justice - perfect breakfast included in the price - an excellent place for a bonding weekend/romantic getaway or a wedding - comfortable and pretty beds What I did not love: - carpets and bathrooms were a bit dated - my deluxe room got really really hot and stuffy but hey, it was still fine …
My fiancé and I got married here last weekend. To type all the good points and why I rated this place as excellent would take a long time, so high lights it is. The staff were great in all regards, even arranging someone to drive to town to get us more smokes! The food was of good quality and presentation and was literally never ending, three cooked meals throughout the evening and a huge buffet that wold have fed everyone just fine on it's own! It's hard to compare prices since I'm British and not familiar with other Polish prices for this kind of event. But from my perspective the value for money was insanely good. We hired the whole hotel for two nights (baring a pair of rooms), fed everyone for 48 hours and provided enough booze to keep everyone watered. On top of that was all the wedding costs and it still came to less than what you'd spend in the UK for a one day/ one night event at a similar venue. And easy to get to from Krakow also helps.…
After viewing several potential venues around the Krakow area late last year and earlier this year we decided that Dwor Sierakow was the ideal choice for our wedding reception venue. I am from the UK and my wife is Polish (from Swietokrzyskie) and we had decided we wanted our wedding to be in Poland, so somewhere close to Krakow (where we lived until returning to the UK one year ago) would have been preferable so that our friends and family from the UK would be able to fly over. We had a recommendation of Dwor Sierakow and after researching and seeing such positive reviews, my wife contacted them to enquire about dates and prices etc. We decided on 1st September and visited Dwor Sierakow in March to see it, meet with the event manager and sample the food and drinks. We were very impressed with everything and felt that it would be an ideal venue for our wedding. We made the arrangements over the following months after deciding on the menu and the additions etc. We stayed at Dwor Sierakow the night prior to our wedding, as the ceremony itself was at a church in the nearby town of Dobczyce. We had arranged a barbecue for the Friday evening (part of the package that they offer) and luckily the weather was very pleasant so we were able to sit out in the courtyard. The barbecue was excellent and the service was very good. The following morning we prepared for our wedding whilst the staff at Dwor Sierakow were working hard to get everything prepared for our reception in the afternoon. After the church ceremony (which was fantastic and went exactly according to plan) we returned to Dwor Sierakow and we were greeted with welcome drinks as we adhered to a few Polish traditions, then everyone made their way into the courtyard for more drinks and photographs. The staff looked after all the guests, who slowly made their way to the dining room which was decorated amazingly, just how we wanted it. The service then for the four course meal was excellent, as indeed was the food - universally approved by all of our guests. Whilst we had already sampled the four courses that we had, we found it incredible that they were able to produce the same dishes for around 70 guests and everyone was so impressed. The later courses were equally as good, as was the buffet table - we really were so impressed with everything. We have to say a big thank you to everyone at Dwor Sierakow for making our day extra special - from the event organiser (Natalia) to the head of the bar/kitchen (Wojciech) and his team, and also the ladies at reception who were all so helpful and accommodating. Oh, and I should mention Teofil the resident cat and his friend the dog whose name we forgot ;) We truly had a fantastic time and could not have wished for a better venue for our wedding reception. I am sure we will visit again when we are over in Poland :) Kind Regards, Andrew & Joanna…
This hotel is surrounded by Polish countryside and there is a forest park at the entrance, which creates relaxing scenery. It is about 45mins driving to Krakow, to Wieliczka only 15mins. We had a lovely weekend stay in general, had not even been disturbed by a wedding during the Saturday's night. The room was clean, offering standard amenities such bottles of fresh water, tea/coffee, fridge/mini bar, fan. The room we stayed does not have A/C, and portable fan was not sufficient, as the 2nd floor windows are small. Also, the hotel invoice said, we stayed in a Superior room. However, our room did not seem larger, rather standard, so that was a bit concerning. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, especially in the evening. Some dishes we ordered were very well prepared, but few had taste of burning. The restaurant staff had troubles understanding English, this could be improved. Also there were very cute cat and dog hanging in the hotel, but also in the eating area. But the dog caused quite a few almost fall downs of waitresses when they were running around. Did not seem really safe for staff having a dog lying down in front of the kitchen door. Breakfast were great, with lots of selection including yoghurts, fresh fruit and pies. Really rich and full-filling. Coffee wasn't that great though. Garden around the hotel is really, really nice. This hotel is recommended for those, who want to visit the area around Krakow, but rather prefer serene location to stay overnight.…
Fantastic place to stay outside of Krakow Good clean rooms, helpful service in a large manor house Excellent restaurant with authentic Polish food, wine and local vodka Invited to a wedding and spent a day before and a day after Enjoyed the reception again in true Polish tradition
In a large park, an hour drive from Krakow. Very quiet area. Renaissance manor, renovated or rebuild some 10 years ago, hosting large parties, weddings etc. The renaissance deco is not original nor local. Kind reception but confusion at checkout. After being shown the elevator, we had some trouble finding our room and hauling our luggage through corridors and stairs. The room was of a decent size, with a minibar, a coffee machine and kettle. No safe. Unfortunately there was a strong mould smell in the bathroom, staying after venting. No AC. WIFI very slow or off at times. The buffet breakfast had a choice of scrambled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, smoked fishes and cheeses. The coffee was obtained from an automatic dispenser. The deliveries to and from the hotel were made through the dining area as we were eating. Some items doubtfully fresh. Not much service or help provided. The restaurant's theme is wine, as some is surprisingly grown in the region. We asked for half boarding, and the dinner the first night was not up to our expectations (leftovers?). The starter, a fried pancake topped with some preserved wild mushrooms, was on the fatty side. The duck confit came with hardly cooked green asparagus and the fruit on the meringue was tasting like onion. The cook should better have used clean utensils. We did not repeat the experience. …
We spent a weekend there with my wife. Great service, good wines (great cellar!) and WONDERFUL FOOD at their restaurant! SPA is good too, although we had one session only. My great birthday weekend away! When we were there they had international rose wine competition there. Nice. A very nice redhead cat might welcome you at the entrance or visit you at your room. Nice and advisable.
What a beautiful location! From the moment you turn in tot he driveway you know you are in for a relaxing treat in a peaceful setting. Rooms: Our room was lovely. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space and, even in the height of the Polish summer, it felt cool and airy. My only issue was with the water pressure, which was a bit sporadic, going from a trickle of steaming hot water to a gush of freezing cold. However my husband didn't have this problem and I think it was down to the fact that all the wedding guests would have been jumping in the shower at the same time! Food Just delicious! The food for the wedding was amazing (and there was loads of it) and the breakfast spread was diverse and tasty. I'd really recommend you try the lard with bacon bits on toast, which is a Polish delicacy. It doesn't look very nice but it is yummy! Staff I can't fault any of the staff at all. everyone worked their socks off to make our whole stay running smoothly, everyone was friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. My only negative with this hotel is that I didn't get the opportunity to try out the spa as the 'Chocolate spa package' looked fantastic! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting the area.…
