Me and my friends stayed in a Hotel Zloty Gron for 4 days (3 nights) and it was great stay. Everything was just perfect. Great scenery, staff, food, cleanliness of permisses etc.etc.There was not even one thing that went wrong. We came here for our friends wedding which turned out to be a great event. Everyone at the venue were super friendly and helpfull. The service was on really high level. The staff was going above and beyond to make our stay special. And they have succeded. We could not have asked for more. As to mention only few team members that we would like to thank to: Mrs Gerda - for taking us to the Trojstyk (place where three borders are meeting) and introducing us to the best cheese makers in that part of the World. HRCAVSKY GRUNT. And for much more. I have no words how to express how amazing day and trip we had thanks to you. YOU ARE A SUPERSTAR. Miss Paulina Receptionist for taking care of us. For your kind help and understanding. For reebooking the room after we got lost on our 5 hour adventure and much more. Mrs Wiesia Receptionist for helping us with getting breakfast earlier on our last day. The last but definetely not least Mr Edek Breakfast Manager - You are OUR HERO. Breakfasts were always something we were looking to. With wide range of different type of food to satisfy all tastes. From local produce to something more ordinary. The food and service was fantastic. Thank you SOOOO MUCH for making an effort and preparing special dishes for our VEGAN friend. It is very much appreciated. You are one of the greatest hosts I have ever came across with. Also I woud like to send special thanks to the hairdresser and make up artist at the Hotel for making me look beautiful for our friends wedding. The food in a Hotel was really good. Rooms beautiful, clean. THE BEST HOSPITALITY in the World. All I can say: It was Great trip thanks to all of You.

Nice, new building, spacious rooms and amazing views - all ruined by unprofessional service. Staff seems focused on just getting their job done and not necessarily on making you feel welcomed or caring about your good experience, which one would expect given the price. Been looked down by receptionist for asking questions, and then again received supermarket-cashier-level customer service from spa/wellness staff. Still, the worst was yet to come, when we attended New Year Party, where no meatless food was served other than cheese, we spoke with the waitress only to be told that "we should have let them know before", no alternative food or other solution was offered, and we were left alone, hungry and disappointed, ignored by waitress for the rest of the eve. Now, that's what you call poor customer service!

We stayed here over the weekend for a family wedding and were blown away by the views. Along with the views thw spa wad one of the best parts with a nice size main pool and sepert kids shallow pool with slide. The staff were friendly and professional the gentleman who runs the breakfast service stuck out as always friendly chatty abd proud of the brilliant breakfast spread. The hotel provides 2 inside play areas which was great for my 2 year old daughter Food for the wedding was really good as was breakfast but i did not eat off the menu so cant advise on that.

We visited in the afternoon as I fancied treating my mum to a late lunch on Mother's Day. Lovely views, place looks really modern and clean. We sat in the "bar" area as we wanted to try some local specials: menus and drinks were delivered promptly. However from now on everything was dissapointing- waited for 3 simple starters far too long ( soup and two grilled cheese with cranberry sauce) - received apology. We were half way through our starters when the waiter arrived with our mains explaining that the kitchen must have send it too soon yet he still left them on the table and walked away! Two of the main courses were not as described on the menu as we ordered smoked breast of duck and caramelised apple salad and received 4 small pieces of tough grilled duck and apple slices smeared with some kind of fruit preserve. Nobody checked our table to see if everything is ok- waitress only came to clear away the plates- never asked if there was something wrong with the salad although I left practically 3/4 of it! Very sad as the place looks really nice but clearly the management forgot to give their staff appropriate training. Dissapointing Mother's day, we should have gone somewhere else!

There are not so many but´s, nevertheless significant ones. First I´ll start with the good stuff- which prevailed over some small minuses. The hotel is beautiful, it´s new, great location on the top of the hill, great view from the balcony, the bathroom floor is heated. Great for ski-lovers. U go out from the Hotel straight to the ski slope and the hotel gives you discounts for ski passes. The food is delicious, traditional polish soups are great. They have sauna and lockers for your stuff while U go skiing. Some drawbacks were that when we checked-in to the room we found cigarette butts on the terrace, there where not enough towels and bath robes when we went to the sauna (we were three and there was only on towel and one bathrobe), on 1st of January, after the New Year´s Eve party there were many foods lacking in the hotel restaurant. Staff barely speaks English, only the retaurant manager Marcin and receptionist Elizabeth spoke very good English. The overall experience is great! All in all I highly recommend this hotel!

I was invited for a weekend holiday in Złoty Groń in Istebna, Poland in November 2016. The hotel is located on a mountain top in Karpaty mountain chain, near to the borders with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. There is a ski lift just outside of the hotel so it’ ideal for ski holidays. The hotel itself is quite new with comfortable rooms and restaurants. The breakfast served by the hotel staff is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel ever.

A friend took me to Zloty Gron for lunch and the view from the hotel was breathtaking! The food was very good and the service was excellent, the outdoor sitting facilities provides a panoramic view of istebna and it was very peaceful and relaxing for lunch. I would think it would also be great place to watch the sunset too!
