We were in Złoty Jar for the first time and we definitely want to go back there. Why? Advantages: - an atmospheric place (the guesthouse when lit at night looks beautiful), tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms, including the dining room, reception, hall, corridors, and finally rooms. Neat and tidy. The breakfasts were made more pleasant by carefully selected music and the evenings by fragrant candles burning on the tables - delicious food, both breakfasts and main / additional courses, desserts (very good coffee from the espresso machine, served for free with breakfast) - you can feel very comfortable, not only because of the atmosphere of this place, but also thanks to the very nice and unobtrusive service (often patient and smiling "extravagant" behavior of children) - a nice starting point, in a ravine, surrounded by forest, in the evening silence like a poppy seed (no noise from cars or cities - you can reset :-)) - quite fast available wifi, useful to check other places to visit (around: Gold Mine - we recommend Mr. Hubert's guide, Książ Castle, Kłodzko Fortress, etc.), a large parking lot, coffee / tea in any amount available for free, which you can drink in front of a real fireplace. - beautiful paintings on the walls, not accidentally selected Defects: - no possibility of recharging a fully electric zero-emission car with "power" or a 230 V socket at a reasonable price (we were presented with a prohibitive price condition, as much as PLN 50 for each start of charging with 230 V!); no charging stations, even AC, which is slowly becoming a standard in other guesthouses, especially since this is a place for slowhop with eco-alert :-) - some of the rooms (bathroom) have not yet had time to renew, but as we were assured - it is a matter of the next few months (we almost did not mind it, but visually it clashed with the entire interior or "outside". In a word 5+ on a 6-point scale! We recommend it to everyone!…
Great place with super nice service and very good food ! Coming back for sure. The location of the house is superb, its super quite and very unique. Looking forward to go there again next year and spend there a weekend with friends.
A really beautiful place in a romantic atmospheric location! Had an amazing couple of nights and would strongly recommend it for families and friends on special occasions! Very vintage and rustic decor inside! Perfect for weddings and other events
My friend had his wedding party with about 50 people. I am American and have a high standard of customer service...this standard was easily met and more. The place is located in a shallow valley between high forested hills. Besides the obvious beauty, the fresh air and great trails nearby make it a perfect place to relax. The decor is rustic style, very clean and not overcrowded. The food is easily the highest quality of the three Polish weddings I have been to. I would recommend it for a wedding party or just if you need a few days rest in the wild :)
One of the most amazing and the most beautiful places I've ever been. beautiful nature, stylish interior with fashionable touch, great atmosphere and full of positive energy. Great for families and for people who want to relax from everyday stress.
Right at the bottom of Staszica street, much further down than Tripadvisor map shows. The only access is by mentioned road, which is quite important, because when you look at the tourist map there's a parallel road ending up in similar place, the only difference is that this road runs at the bottom of the gorge, while Staszica street goes higher on the slopes of gorge. Fantastic building, dating back to 19th century, maintained with a lot of effort by current owners, who took it over from some kind of childrens summer camp organisers. Perfect place for peace and quiet lovers. TV in the launge. Quite strong wi-fi signal. Breakfast with good variety. It isn't a hotel, so you shouldn't expect hotel amenities, but it's a very nice guest house, with great staff, and always welcoming owner lady.…
Beautiful old house situated in a picturesque valley on the far outskirts of the town. It looks like taken straight from a 19th century postcard, and in fact it is, the place is filled with old albums and postcards showing its history. The service is very pleasant and helpful, and the place is not crowded, at least not after the normal tourist season. I'd say it is a must-visit place when you are in the vicinity of Złoty Stok.
Złoty Jar is a great Guest House. I came there after loooong ride. The Staff was great - very polite and nice. The breakfast was huge and very good. If you are looking for quite place with great atmosphere and you are travelling on a low budget it's a great place to find a bed.
