During our visit in Capetown, we stayed in the Green Elephant Hostel twice. The separate rooms en suite are extremely modern, clean and beautiful – even better than a hotel. Can fully recommend the place!

The hostel staff is very professionale and always present for any required assistance (day and night). The toilets are clean and well allocated. The position is also good, with a big supermarket next to the hostel....

We were recommended this hotel by a friend who had stayed here the year previous. Our private room was clean and spacious with extra blankets provided for those cold nights. The only issue we had was that it was next to the kitchen and when (what we presume was) some local workers that were staying in the hostel made there...

Our first destination in Cape Town was Green Elephant and we felt very safe and supported here. Howard the owner was fabulous as were all the staff. Our teens loved it and we enjoyed being able to cook and relax and meet others traveling. A lot of fun!
