This place is fantastic, set in the rainforest it is stunning. The rooms are very nice and the dining area is beautiful. The food is very good and the staff are wonderful. My 3 year old daughter had a wonderful time with all the staff but especially Ida, Stefan and Jo. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

The setting of the lodge is lovely. My mum and i felt it was nit what you would expect for 4 to 5 star accommodation. Thdre is no internet or tv reception which is a bonus for an escape. The rooms were basic and the bathroom outdated. It was clean however. At nighttime the sound of the fruits falling from...

This resort is magic. The cabins are in the middle of the rainforest with cassowaries walking around the resort. A lovely creek runs through the resort with quite a few swimming holes to cool down. Managers/owners (Vicki & Al) are delightful, they really made us feel at home and much more. The central reception/restaurant area was a nice retreat for...

I stayed here with my family. Absolutely loved this place and the Daintree. Our rooms were well presented, clean, modern and fresh. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We explored cooper creek and spent real quality family time, swimming, skimming rocks and soaking up the stunning tropical nature! The manager was extreamly helpful and went above and beyond to...

I've read the last few reviews and wanted to add my own thoughts. We stayed July 2015 for 2 nights, 3 of us for $260 per night. Experiences are about expectations as the last review said and I feel like after researching this place and reading back through reviews I knew what my expectations were of this place and they...

Experiences are all about expectations, I travel a lot - sometimes spending $50 a night and sometimes a lot more. So on the good side this hotel is set in an amazing location - the Daintree is definitely worth going to and most people only do a day trip and it is probably because of the poor quality and overpriced...

The Heritage Lodge and Spa - my wife and I last visited it 7 years ago - a remote, peaceful, friendly retreat in one of the world's great rain forests. Not now. On the positive the lodges are basically the same, but have been repainted and very comfortable beds - pillows leave a lot to be desired. The bathrooms are...

Very disappointed , paid $370 for a small room that had rock hard bed and a cracked bathroom mirror! The setting is great but that's about all! I'd look around for a better option. Meals in restaurant were $40 a main. Host is always out the back smoking. Felt like she didn't want people there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was great. The swimming hole in the river is very special. There is plenty to do nearby, including the Daintree Discovery Centre, a tropical fruit farm, and boardwalks in the forest. There is lots of wildlife and we saw cassowaries...

Recently spent 3 wonderful days and nights at this amazing place where Vicki and her staff treated us like family. The location was very comfortable and the scenery and wildlife spectacular. We ate there all 3 nights and they all hit the mark. Would definitely satay here again.
