The view is something you can not prepare yourself for. With every shade of green through the rainforest to the blue of the sea, BREATHTAKING!! The treehouse type chalet fits perfectly into the environment. We loved it!!! Warm, lazy days reading in the hammock, days spent splashing around the pool or taking a 5 min drive to the beach made... My Husband and I took a couple of days off to head up North to the Daintree. The Coral Sea Views was comfortable and had everything we needed for our two night stay, including cooking facilities under the main house and a small fridge in the cabin. The accommodation was simple, but beautifully crafted out of wood, just like the... More

This is a late review but I remember it being a fantastic weekend away with a fantastic host. The chalet was fantastic and the pool/kitchen area was a great bonus. The view is unlike any I have seen, to see the cape from an elevated view is a must do when in the area.

Went for a spontaneous road trip on boxing day with the missus and wound up at this little patch of paradise. Vaughn was a really great host, always happy to help when needed. The rooms themselves have gorgeous views of the mountains & the hammocks are great to just chill out and take it all in. The swimming pool was... More

I would highly recommend this accommodation for couples and singles visiting Cape Trib. It was a beautiful stay with the basic needs in the room and a spectacular view. Recommendations- bring mozzie coils and candles and enjoy a wine in the hammocks!

This is a very special place. Wonderful views, very comfortable chalet and excellent host. Very good board walking locally plus the best ice-creams ever ! The sunsets viewed from the balcony were spectacular. Highly recommended.

The chalets are beautiful, the views are stunning and the hospitality superb. This place has to have the best breakfast with loads of tropical fruit and real coffee and a view across the wonderful garden and rainforest complete with iridescent butterflies and hummingbirds. A pair of hammocks to chill in or a dip in the pool. Practical details like good... More

What an amazing place to spend a few days. The views from the cabins beyond our expectations. Vaughn has created a paradise in which to enjoy the wonders of the rain forest. Breakfast, which was served overlooking the garden and trees, was a lovely selection of cereals, fruits and to top it all the wonderful combination of avocado and toast.... More

This is a lovely place to stay! Incredible view, beautiful open lounge area in the chalet. The owner Vaughn puts on a great brekki of toast, cereal and a delicious spread of fresh fruit. The hammocks on the balcony are the perfect way to relax and read a book, plenty of little birds and the stunning blue Ulysses butterflies to... More

I stayed at Coral sea view for two nights. The rooms were very comfortable and the views from the chalet were breathtaking. Breakfast was basic but good. Swimming pool was clean and felt good to have a swim without worrying about salties. Good value overall.
