Right on the beach in a very quiet spot, it doesn't get much more relaxing than this. Only 20 metres to the restaurant and bar, 40 metres from the beach, where there are plenty of covered sun beds, it doesn't get much better than this. The cabanas are a little cramped around the bed but never the less comfortable , with a good shower (cold). The food was good and reasonably priced.

I loved my two nights at Nilaveli Sand Life, such a beautiful place, and in a perfect location. I received excellent customer service from the moment i arrived until the moment i left. The room charge was fantastic value of money, i loved the beautiful bed and the lovely clean linen. The room was impeccably clean and the whole resort was beautifully maintained. The restaurant and bar was fantastic with a happy vibe throughout the day and into the night. The beach is kept beautifully clean and there are plenty of sunbeds, with or without shade as you wish. There were no traders on the beach at all. The waves were perfect fun for jumping and diving into. Tip - there are no shops or banks nearby so be sure to have enough supplies in advance, this place is beautifully remote. Highly recommended.

it's a pretty new and wonderful place directly at a georgious beach. Wendy is a friendly host and the whole stuff is very nice. Every evening there's dinner with candles and music at the beach which was awesome. The food is also good there.

Sand Life Hotel is in a perfect location. The beach is amazing and the bars/ restaurants nearby are open late if you feel like a party vibe. We stayed in the Chalet with a private shower. The shower is nice, under coconut trees behind your chalet. The chalet is small. We’re small people and we still found it small. If you love camping you’ll love this place. The chalet is almost the same as being in a small dome tent, you won’t be standing up inside. I’m 5’4 (164cm) and my feet were pretty much at the end of the mattress, if you were any taller your feet would be on top of your backpack. The mosquito net didn’t fit the bed (unless you wanted it touching your face) but there was a fan in the room to keep mosquitos away. The sitting area consisted of the only uncomfortable hammock I’ve ever been in. And extremely upright small chairs that never got wiped clean (there are a lot of crows). But the restaurant and beach cabanas/ bar are right next to them and are comfortable. The WiFi only works in the reception area and the one time I tried wasn’t strong enough to massage a photo but I only tried once.
