I recently participated in an Angloville programme within the hotel, the welcome was nothing but cold from a number of workers. To be told vegan meals would be readily available, to being given a meal containing dairy from an unapologetic waitress, there could be massive improvements, especially considering this was specifically advertised! Next was the washing, whilst I was warned about this, nevertheless the 300 zl was ridiculous and took me by shock, a sneaky move to make residents pay huge amounts for a necessity! However, the resort was beautiful, rooms were cleaned daily and a few workers were very lovely and helpful.

We stayed here simply because of the location-between two points of interest for us; Kopalnia Zloty Stok & Ksiaz Castle. Location is tucked away in a neighborhood & a bit secluded. No one came to the check in desk for over 5 mins when we arrived even though the desk sits within the open dining room area & there was wait staff all around. Lack of acknowledgement is something you have to get used to traveling through Poland. Rooms were nothing exceptional. There is no air conditioning & when we stayed it was 30+C. Even though we could throw open the windows, the location of our room, directly above the main entrance & overlooking the car park & two other room's balconies did not allow for any privacy. Putting the roller blinds down at night only made the room more stifling hot. This property has air conditioning in places however....like the kid's play room which was almost directly across from our door & we never saw a child in it the entire time we were there yet the a/c was blasting away. It was late evening by the time we arrived after a busy day traveling & sightseeing so we decided to eat dinner at the hotel. The food was just o.k. But worst of all, we had to sit between two parties of @10-15 people each who were obviously celebrating separate affairs. They really need a function room for these sorts of things especially as the space is too small in general let alone with two large groups simultaneously. When these two parties departed, we were grateful for the calm to finish our dinner by however, as soon as the last guest exited, the staff began loudly rearranging the furniture around us. We ourselves were nearly finished so there was no reason why they couldn't have waited another 15 mins. in order to do this. The area in the back of the building was still being developed however our son did get a go on the "pump track" with a rented bike which costs additional zloty & even the smallest bike was really too big for him (a kid related attraction yet no kid size bikes?). Breakfast the following morning was substantial...almost too much for the amount of guests staying which couldn't have amounted to more than 5 Rooms total according to the cars in the car park. Overall, the rooms needs some attention-they are a bit bland & could use some minor repairs. There is definitely plenty of room for improvement but not a bad place to stay either if in the area.

Not knowing the area I looked for a place to stay 1 night because of business meeting in the area. This was really a good surprise. The SPA is open till 22 as well the kitchen. So also arriving not so early, I had the possibility to enjoy the sauna and pool, then get for a reply good dinner.

My sister and I "snuck" away for a few days and decided to treat ourselves to a Bardo Hotel. The hotel has some wonderful facilities - pool, jacuzzi, wet/dry sauna, gym. It's decorated in a very tasteful and modern style. Our room and bathroom were beautiful. I must say one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were incredibly professional and fiendly and we felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. Food was delicieous - world class cuisine. Last thing: Miss Justyna from SPA makes incredible massages.

Quiet surroundings, nice service. Rooms are small, but cosy. Tasty food in the restaurant, but breakfasts could be wider in the offer. Nice pool and saunas included into the hotel stay. Can take lunch as take away for extra fee. Minus: Water in the rooms is only with gaz. Restaurant is located right in the lobby and it's rather cold there during winter time. Overall is a good choice hotel taking into account the next one is around 15-20 km away.

Very nice facility, the route to the hotel well marked. The last part of the route is on the unpaved road - don't get confused, you're on the right way. :) I had an attick room which was nice but I would prefer a room with a balcony. So, if you want to have a good view or even sit outside, do mention this during your reservation. Parking is free in front of the hotel. Location very quiet, children friendly (nice playgrounds outside, a big board in the hotel lobby, etc.). There is a pool + jacuzzi, a fitness room and 2 saunas within the pool complex what is a bit inconvenient as you can only use them with your swimsuits on. Not a very good option for a real sauna lover. No pool towels or bathrobes in the room. Restaurant has a decent selection of dinner menus, while the breakfast choice could be better. Staff is very poor with English although very friendly.

Just spent a night here by accident as we are staying here as part of a mountainbike race. Fantastic hotel, very new, friendly staff would highly recommend for an out of the way visit. Oh and when you are three stages into a very hard race the jacuzzi is particularly pleasant!

This new hotel in Bardo is located on slopes of Góry Sowie mountain ridge high above town with access in need of improvements. But as soon as you cross the entry gate - it's all good. Well, nearly. The room we got was really spacious, probably one of the biggest we ever got. Own balcony and huge windows with electric shutters. Unfortunatelly the roof window hasn't got any covers, so we were up the next day as soon as the sun was up... We didn't use the swimming pool, nor the spa facilities, mainly because of receptionist, who wasn't really keen on checking for us availability of spa services, keep saying "later, I'm busy right now". Earlier, the same man checked us in, and that was quite an experience, when we felt like beeing interviewed by police, with our documents in his hand checking properly, if people on pictures in IDs was really us... I would think more training for staff would be good idea, as it was the only downside of our stay in Hotel Bardo.
