Disney's Beach Club Resort captivates many with its inviting atmosphere and beachy theme, although a few guests feel the decor could include more Disney flair. The resort's proximity to theme parks and exceptional pool area are frequently praised, yet some visitors express concerns over room amenities and perceive the cost as steep for the value received.
While rooms are spacious and generally well-maintained, issues with soundproofing, cleanliness, and inconsistent service quality are noted. Nonetheless, the hotel's prime location near Epcot and diverse transportation options consistently receive acclaim.

Just stayed at the Disney Beach Club Resort
( Club level) from 1/14-1/19 with two friends for our 70 th birthdays. We had a fabulous time. From the moment we stepped on the 5 th floor level the staff was so accommodating and ready to assist us. You have your own concierge staff on that floor. They helped us navigate the technology on our disney experience app .Every staff member was fabulous. The location is very convenient. You can walk to Epcot(5 min), Hollywood Studios(15 min) and the Boardwalk. Also convenient to the Skyliner to Hollywood studios and 4 resorts. Boat ride to Hollywood studios also. There is bus transportation outside the resort to Magic Kingdom, Animal kingdom and Disney Springs as well as the water parks.
Stormalong bay which stretches from the Beach to Yacht Club has great pools, water slides, lazy river and sand in the pools. Great ice cream shop called “ Peaches and Cream Soda Shop. May need a reservation but can order outside too.
We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a day bed. The bathroom area had a double sink situated outside the shower and toilet area. Minifridge and coffee and tea area in the room. Microwave on request.
Convenient having food and drinks available throughout most of the day.from 7 am to 10 pm. Menu at the desk daily. We had breakfast daily before starting our day. Snacks and sodas also available..In the evening could get a glass or two of wine. Also other alcohol. Definitely worth it if you take advantage and spend some time at the hotel during the dining hours.

We went to WDW for the 1st time with 2 teens (daughter is 18 and son is 14). At this age we wanted to stay on the WDW property (no car rental and other perks like early entrance, free transportation to hotel from airport). We are so glad we choose the Beach Club as it's proximity to Epcot is 5 mins.! You can grab the Skyliner at the Epcot International entrance to Hollywood Studios. It's also a short walk to the Broadwalk area where you can have dinner if you want. We decided for the mornings to Uber it so we can get to the entrance fast and not worry about waiting for buses, etc. It was just convenient for us.
The service is amazing and everyone we dealt with was always smiling, helpful and efficient . Whether it was needing a microwave (just ask at check in as it's complimentary but they are limited. We brought oatmeal with us and bought milk, eggs at the hotel marketplace to make scrambled eggs in a mug (I brought the mug from home) and oatmeal. Save time and money!) They brought us blankets within 10 mins., answered our questions, gave us guidance.
We requested a deluxe room. Not on the club level. There are 7 rooms that have 2 Q (not double) and a pullout couch that's a full Q bed. It was room 3606 and it was a corner room so lots of light and 2 small walkout decks. Could see the fireworks from Epcot! There's a double sink and a 4" shelf ledge above and large shelf below to store all our toiletries. This was huge for us! Plenty of outlets for all the electronics, a fridge, closet space as well as a pullout table (under the desk) for breakfast. We were 5 mins from the lobby! Very clean and well stocked with towels and small shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.
The pool was huge and they offer 2 hot tubs. We enjoyed hopping in at the end of the day. They do close it at 8pm so that was a bit early for the hot tub we thought.
We enjoyed 1 breakfast on our last day at the Cape May and didn't realize it was a character breakfast! So fun and the spread was amazing.
The little details made all the difference to us. It was well worth the cost.

From fun-in-the-sun to spectacular nightlife, Disney's Beach Club Resort "shore" is a great place to make memories! You picked an excellent place to have your first Walt Disney World vacation experience. I'm delighted you enjoyed being steps away from Epcot. You can truly make the most of your vacation when you are conveniently located with so many great Transportation options. It sounds like you were able to see how committed our Cast Members are to ensuring you are having the best vacation possible, and I appreciate you taking the time to share some kind words about them in your review. Though I am impressed by your innovative scrambled eggs in a mug, I'm so glad you were able to enjoy breakfast at Cape May Cafe! I can only imagine how surprising it was to discover some of our Disney pals would be visiting you at your table. I have no doubt this made your last morning with us extra magical. Thank you so much for sharing this review. We can't wait for you to join us again! Anna Disney Social Reviews

I love everything Disney and this is the first time I ventured to WDW. Our family decided to stay at Disney’s Beach club resort because we were focused on a two bedroom suite and surprisingly there aren’t many across the WDW resorts. They’re there but when it comes to placement Disney’s Beach Club Resort has more transportation options. The room consisted of a one bedroom suite and a standard room interconnecting. Check in was very simple and completely very quickly. Our room was not ready (it was 10:00am) and so our luggage was stored and we walked to Epcot (max 10 mins walk with three kids and a grandad with a bung knee). We were alerted that our room was ready and it was quite nifty that my phone could open the room along with the magic bands. The room had plenty of space, a large sofa, dining table with four chairs, a wet bar area, veranda and large closet space. The one bedroom suite had a separate toilet and bathroom but the standard room had just the one bathroom. The room had air conditioning and fans. An obvious perk to the two bedroom suite was access to the Stoneharbour concierge room which consistently provided food and drinks. The room was enough space for four adults and three children. Why I didn’t give this review 5 stars you ask?
1. When you get a concierge room you probably want to be near the Club Room. Unfortunately we were several hallways and 2 floors away. Because this is a two bedroom club room we were going to be some distance so I think they could at least fill up the fridge with complimentary drinks to compensate for this.
2. Some of the furniture was very dirty as in old- we had to throw a sheet over the sofa because it had so many unsightly stains - when you pay a fair bit of money at these places you don’t want to look at furniture stained that bad that it could be at the dump.
3. The wet bar could offer a bit more than just a sink, coffee maker and fridge - there’s enough space in the room to do a Reno to make it more worthwhile.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent stay. In reading your review it sounds like this Resort was a good fit for your family's vacation needs. It also sounds like you had a great check-in process that allowed you to experience Epcot while waiting for your room to ready. I do want to apologize that your room wasn’t absolutely perfect especially being presented with stained furniture. I appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share it with the appropriate Leadership team. I will also be sharing your suggestions regarding the location of your club level room along with the layout. Thank you again for your review and I hope we will be welcoming you again in the future. We arrived at Beach Club December 29th as an adult vacation for New Years! We have been coming to Disney for over 35 years and have stayed at value, moderated, villas, and deluxe properties.
We understand it would be a busy time of year so we chose to stay at the Beach Club for easy access to Epcot for New Years Eve.
Our second day we started to notice that the hallways were like an ice box and our room a sauna to housekeeping no where to be found until 5 pm at night they like to clean our room so we opted to just take towels as we had been out all day and were getting ready to shower for dinner reservations. The next day we decided to order room service for breakfast 2 hour wait all taking this in stride being we knew it was extremely busy and hotels were at full capacity. As we ventured out for the day to return again to no housekeeping but, room service try was taken we made a phone call to have the room cleaned and fresh towels so we headed out again to let them do their job. Upon returning about an hour 1/2 we walked into towels left on the floor some hanging on towel rack and bed was just pulled up no sheets changed no vacuuming no happy but, we had to rush to dinner reservation for New Years Eve dinner. We decided that we would just not fuss and just deal well we came back to the room about 1/2 hour before Epcot fireworks to change and make our way over the bridge to ringing in the New Years! Yep nope my husband starts yelling that he just saw a huge bug crawling up our bed upon inspection yes it was a huge bug. So of course we call down to front desk and they tell us they have to get “Pest Control” and that could take anywhere from 1/2 to who knows when due to they are off property and New Years Eve! And they have no other rooms avail to move due to full capacity. Needless to say as we are hearing this fireworks are going off at Epcot for New Years! I’m in tears and beyond upset headed to front desk low and be hold they have a room avail so we pack up and head off to another room all the while people are coming back into the lobby after celebrating the New Years!
My husband forgot something in the room so he went back to get after meeting the service man he told him it was an “American Cockroach” never ever have we had an issue with a Disney Property before but, trust me we will never return to The Beach Club again.
They did give us a credit for one night but, everyone that knows what Disney’s properties go for around Holiday time. This ruined the entire experience for us as a couple and are seriously having doubts as to if we would consider ever spending that kind of money again. This by no means was not up to Disney standards at all!!!!!!

I appreciate you taking a moment to share about your recent stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. I am sincerely sorry to see your stay was bookended with Housekeeping concerns that ended up marring your New Year’s Eve celebrations. As you said, this is our busiest time of year, but it is certainly disheartening to read your stay fell short of your expectations. I’d like to learn some more about your stay. We booked 1 night here as part of a 11 night stay in Orlando, in the main to be closer to Hollywood Studios for the 6am start require to ride 'rise of the resistance'. The plus ... beautifully themed pools but very, very crowded and certainly not a pool to relax by but rather a place to watch your own kids and everyone else's have fun. The not so great ..... well, let's just say the hotel was just ok and for Disney prices and hype that probably isn't good enough. Theming is subtle (fine by me), decor is in need of lots of refreshing (very badly scuffed corridor walls, skirting and in room too), room is small and roll away bed only really ok for someone to use as an occasional bed and not a longer stay, service was a bit meh! We checked in at 9am only to find the magic bands we'd spent ages confuguring with colours and names on the app hadn't been ordered (cue disappointed children). We were sent a text in the parks to say room was ready at 3pm (fine) but on arrival to room at 11pm found the rollaway/Murphy bed hadn't even been made up for our 9 year old. Housekeeping were apologetic and sent someone down, but when they did appear they seemed surprised we couldn't have tackled the job ourselves.... given making up the bed was pulling one blanket stored in a bag out of the wardrobe (no sheet other than the one he got to lay on), we probably could. All in all nothing terrible to say but equally nothing amazing either and given this hotel was four times the price of our other accommodation (and to be honest no where near as good as it and certainly no where near as good as the Disney Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and Cabins or Animal Kingdom where we have previously stayed) this is a shame. Not one for us I'm afraid and Disney, when your prices 'sparkle' your service has to sparkle and be consistent too!

Thank you for writing this honest review of your stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. It is disheartening to learn you were disappointed in your overall experience here. I'm so sorry to know your MagicBand order did not go through for some reason, as I certainly understand how disappointing that would be to find out upon your arrival. While I am glad to know your family enjoyed the splash-tastic outdoor water recreation area known as Stormalong Bay, I am sorry to know you felt you couldn't relax there. If you are looking for a more tranquil environment, this Resort also features 3 quiet pools, each featuring a whirlpool spa, away from this area. Should you have any trouble locating one of these pools, our Cast Members will be happy to point you in the correct direction. I do sincerely apologize for the Housekeeping inconsistency you experienced, but I'm glad to know one of our Cast Members was able to come up to your room and assist with that. They would also be able to assist by providing any additional sheets, blankets or pillows you might need. Whether here or at another one of our Disney Resort hotels, we truly look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back soon! Kim Disney Social Reviews

I am a seasoned Disney traveler, staying at many deluxe and villas. I can honestly say, we were disappointed with our stay. As for positives, it was very close proximity to Epcot and love being able to visit Yacht Club and Boardwalk resorts. The resort overall was very clean and front desk very nice. Negatives were in abundance. Never found this to be the case at Disney. When we checked in, our room was not ready as it was still early in the day. As it neared 4pm though, we never got an alert our room was ready. Being that it was now after 4pm, this was unacceptable. We finally did get to our room somewhere around 4:30pm. Made service was strange throughout our stay. One day they showed up at 4pm to clean our room, person staying with me was there leaving early in the trip to return home and asked for the made to return shortly. She returned at 7pm. Then the next day showed up at 9am. The walls were the thinnest we've ever experienced in a Disney hotel. Could hear everyone in the hallway and the people next door sounded like they were in out room. Lastly, we booked a garden view room which was on the second floor and had a full balcony. The area outside of our balcony was some sort of service area for towels and other such vehicles. Again very loud. Was so looking forward to staying here but now can honestly say one and done.

I’m glad to have the opportunity to read about your recent visit. One of the best amenities of this Resort is the location. With a short walk or a boat ride you can head over to Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s BoardWalk! It’s great to hear that you too loved this feature and took full advantage. I also want to apologize that you had some concerns with your room. We strive to create a welcoming and carefree environment and it appears we may have missed the mark with your stay; I’m truly sorry. To try and help make your trip more comfortable in the future I suggest contacting your front desk if ever you have any concerns. A Cast Member will be happy to assist in any way possible. You can also contact Housekeeping and set up your room cleanings for a time that is most convenient for you. Thank you for your review. I hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you and show that Disney difference. Betty Disney Social Reviews

Our family of four stayed in a standard room mid-June 2021. We love the location of this resort as it is a short walk to Epcot, the Boardwalk (pizza and ice cream), and you can take both the water shuttle to Hollywood Studios and the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. The pool is a nice one with a light current in the lazy River. Our room faced the front of the resort but we could see HS fireworks from our Juliet balcony so that was fun. We requested a microwave for our room which was delivered on night one. We always bring breakfast food to save time, money, and to accommodate an allergy. Covid practices in place, our room was only cleaned every other day and really it was just to deliver clean towels and empty trash for the most part. I do understand that this isn’t the norm. The resort is large and it would be important to request a room close to the elevator if there are mobility issues.
Resort is clean and lovely, has a gorgeous pool, nice gym, friendly staff, and a great location.

I really wish I could give this anything but one star and even that is being nice.
This hotel shows that money doesnt bring better results. The cost per night is a lot and what you get is far inferior to any moderate hotel as most of those have been renovated.
The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, and I am not just judging one room. We were moved due to the first room being so bad, but the second room was still far from perfect. Both rooms were in dire need of decordation and looked very old and worn.
The wifi in the rooms was next to nothing and involved sitting on the balcony and holding your phone out.
Our belonging were removed from our first room to a new room without our permission and without us finishing packing.
The greating we first recieved when we arrived at the hotel was very blunt and rude, which is very unusual for Disney.
The quick service offerings are a joke. No choice at all. There are 2 freestyle machines, and only one was ever working at a time.
We have stayed at many other Disney hotels and would return to any of them, but will never return to Beach Club and could never recommend it.
We have already been contacted and massively compensated for all the issues we had, but i have since found out that many others have also because of the many problems at this resort.

We have already been contacted and massively compensated for all the issues we had, but i have since found out that many others have also because of the many problems at this resort.

We have been DVC/Beach Club owners for approx.10 years now and have stayed every year since. We flew into MCO at approx. 10 am and headed to the resort to hit the pool. We did not get a room until well after 5:00 pm. After being up since 4 am and sitting in the Solarium for 2 hours at the end of the day talking to other folks, they were literally laughing at us as they were given rooms around 2:00 in the afternoon. A trip to the front desk gave a bad attitude that they don't guarantee check in. Well my response was that I don't guarantee an on time check out then. While i was inquiring, the guy next to me was reporting to the desk to get his complimentary room upgrade, I should've hung around to find out how he pulled that one off. No pixie dust for me I guess! During the whole week the sleeping was very quiet, until the last night I got about 2 hours sleep. All kinds of weird noises ALL night. I headed to the front deck in the morning to inquire and was met with a very nice reception and a "what can we do for you". I was so taken aback but I should've asked for a comp night I guess. At that point there was nothing that could've been done, we were leaving. It did dawn on me afterwards, all the decorations in the whole resort were gone overnight. So I don't know if we were near a service elevator or near where some of the stuff is stored? Its my only conclusion as all the other nights were dead quiet. The marketplace either had bagels and no cream cheese or cream cheese and no bagels. The answer from a guy in a suit was a polite sorry sir, busy morning. WHAT? You mean to tell me there are no bagels in Disney world they could've shipped over? Seriously 5-10 years ago that would've never happened, I am sure its a stock/budget cutting sort of thing, you can almost read it on the walls. The GOOD.... as we say in Real Estate, location, location, location! You can walk into Epcot, take a short boat ride or a loner walk to MGM, we went to Boardwalk on New Years Eve and it was a lot of fun. One of the elevators was broken as well for a time so we ended up using the stairs quite often after long park days, not a huge deal but definitely an inconvenience with luggage. Disney had a overall horrendous week with transportation that week anyways. We will return as we own Beach Club, but the whole Disney experience has changed over the years which is a complaint for another place. Thank god our kids are getting older and we are on the downside of visiting Disney properties. If you are contemplating multiple or future trips to Disney, I would recommend that you experience the convenience of this resort at least once.

We arrived at the Beach Club at 6:30pm with our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. We had reserved two rooms with double beds and a pull out couch. At check in, as we were giving them the names of who was in each room, our front desk attendant discovered that the wrong people were assigned to the wrong rooms, and it would take a few minutes to fix, so encouraged us to sit in lobby away from front desk and she would come get us when she was done. Kids and adults were hungry and tired, but no problem, we sat down.
20 minutes later when she hadn’t come to get us, I waited in the long check in line (again) to find out the rooms still weren’t sorted out. As we were hungry, she encouraged us to grab a bite at the marketplace and she would come get us when the keys/bands were ready.
45 minutes later, when no one had come to get us, I waited in the long check in line (again). The rooms were ready! I waited in the bell services line to give them the room numbers to send our bags to our rooms and we headed off.
Now nearly 9pm, one the rooms was as advertised and one had a king bed. As none of the four adults are married, a king bed is a nonstarter, as I had told them at the front desk. All the tired kids and adults went into one room, while I went to wait in the check in line for a fourth time.
The front desk corrected the problem and gave us new keys. We had to redirect the luggage, but by 10pm, nearly everything was ok. Second room did not have a pull out couch, but after calling for a cot and having it delivered in under an hour, we were settled.
I’m hopeful that the rest of our stay will have better service than the first three hours we were here. Don’t make promises that you will come and find a family to check them in when you won’t. Arriving at Disney is a super exciting time for kids and having to redirect their energy for the first three hours was a challenging experience for this mom.
