This is a lovely place to spend your ski or other holiday. The rooms are cozy, staff is friendly, food is excellent. Lots of activities are close by. There is a bus right in front of the hotel. It brings you to the cable car station. I can highly recommend this place. Susanne 70 🇨🇭

The best part of the hotel starts outside the hotel. It is opposite the bus stop. The lift is small but functional. The rooms are nice and cozy with balconies (if you want to smoke or just take in the outside view). The owner himself was there to greet us. The breakfast has all callings of a good hotel breakfast. The area surrounding is very quiet and scenic. All in all highly recommended for families and single travellers. Within easy reach through bus+train is the eigerhorn, moosfluh, hohfluh, and a couple of more cable cats to head up. If you want a view of the Aletsch glacier and want a quiet retreat, this is the hotel to be at. The hotel also has a wellness center.

Our stay at the Alpenblick hotel was excellent in any possible way: idyllic location in quiet and stunningly picturesque surroundings, comfortable and spacious rooms, clean and relaxing spa area, and, most importantly, one of the most hospitable, helpful and friendly hosts we’ve ever met. We felt so welcome there and do feel that we liked the Swiss part of our vacation so much because of Fabian’s care and help. The hotel has everything you might need during your stay - restaurant with a good menu, rental service (Fabian was patient enough to give me instructions on riding my first ever e-bike😬😆), swimming pool, and lots and lots of things around to keep yourself busy during any season. Breathtaking views of Aletsch glacier are right around the corner. All in all, I can’t recommend this place enough!

There is no better place for enjoying the Swiss Alps scenery than Aletcharena and its the greatest glacier in all Alps. Seeking the peaceful relaxation spot with close distance to the nicest part of Aletcharena Hotel Alpenlblick Wellness Hotel won the competition. Bus stop just opposite to the hotel, with 3 minutes journey to the closest cable to the highest mountain Eggishorn. Stunning view of the snowed glacier would make it during the summer with mountain hiking even more astonishing. The convenience of buying tickets in the hotel for discounted price covered all the travel expenses to the pistes and no stress experience. The recommendation comes from a charming Hotel Manager Fabian to arrange the snowboard equipment from The Volken Sports - Intersport near the pistes. Discounted price from the hotel and professional assistance by Christian help a lot :) First day is always exhausting so we recover in lovely Wellness within the hotel. Steam rooms, sauna and pool with panoramic views leave us with no words. Entertainment starts by the pistes in TIKI bar continuing with delicious traditional Swiss kitchen, flushing the Aperol Spritz and local stories narrated by the lovely staff at the bar allowing us to relax at night. Following up the hotel great kitchen and the best pizza in Switzerland we twisted our tongues around the bratwursts at Bergfreund. There is no better combination of the view and taste in the mouth, you bet :) Only joyful, magnificent panoramic views of the Alps and retreat in the hotel if weather stubborn. Lovely staff made us only feel more relaxed from the European metropole.

Fabian and his team did an exceptional job catering to the demanding needs of having a group of 30 young adult athletes and adults for two weeks during the Junior World Ski Championships in 2018. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the food high quality and the sauna was hot! Fabian is interested in getting to know his guests and takes pride in his work down to the smallest details! Thank you for a great stay and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit a beautiful area of the world!

the staff is very friendly, rooms (standard) are nice and the swimming pool and steam bath are fine, too. (Water a little cold in the pool, but still nice). Pitty the whirlpool is only available for additional costs.

It is with regret that I write about a recent very poor experience at this hotel. I was eating lunch at the hotel with a group of 3 friends. The friends were also staying in the hotel - on my recommendation. After lunch I paid my individual bill and then left. When I went back to the hotel to meet my friends for dinner, they told me that they (who are non German speakers) had been charged 20 CHF for tap water at lunch. I was upset, and asked the server (who was the same server from lunch) why? She looked apologetic and explained that her manager had asked her to do it. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said he was gone (it was 8pm.) I asked her to call him and she said she could not. I left my phone number and asked him to call me back the following day and he never did. She later explained that he charged this charge for water because we were not drinking alcohol at lunch. Keep in mind that all 4 of us ordered full meals at lunch, and again at dinner. This type of management is absolutely unacceptable. The charge is not in the menu, and it is not reasonable. Furthermore the manager refused to discuss it with me. I would like to point out that I am not one to complain normally. If you look through my past tripadvisor reviews they are almost all extremely positive. But I feel like this type of customer service cannot go unmentioned. I would also like to point out that I have told this story to numerous paragliding friends who return to Fiesch on a regular basis, and they have all expressed dismay over this story. There is nothing more I can do than to spread the information, and to assure the owner that I, along with my friends, will never frequent his establishment again.

Convenient location of the Hotel in a quiet village. Bus in front of the hotel 5 minutes to the gondola that takes you to a great ski area. Friendly but professional owners (family hotel). Nice staff. Good food. The hotel is a 3 star with 4 star services. Nice indoor pool. We stayed in a spacious room with a great balcony facing the valley. All the hotel is very, very clean. We kept skiis and boots at the brother's hotel on the ski hill so we could walk around and go to the gondola and the bus with the hiking boots. We really had a good time.

In fact we had originally booked at a different hotel in Fiesch, unfortunately the booking website showed a check in time until 10pm, but the last cable cart (only transport up the mountain), was at 6pm. As a result I had to try and make a very last minute booking on the train to Fiesch. I found myself speaking to one of the owners himself, who offered to collect us from the train station knowing that we were new travellers and we had no transport to the hotel. He did not just charge us extra for our booking, regardless of the fact we had booked literally 10 minutes prior. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, very traditional and swiss with a selection of cured meats & cheeses, along with many other varieties. There is a lovely view of the mountains from most of the rooms, although the rooms themselves are fairly basic they do have at least 5-6 decent english channels and are very homely & traditional. The dinner menu was delicious, we had an amazing steak and lamb dish! Very satisfying! Beautiful selection of gelati available for desert. And drinks were very reasonable! The hotel is only a 5 minute bus ride to the Cable Cart for Eggishorn - which gives an amazing view of Aletsch Glacier. This really is a must stay, I have to stress the reason the hotel is so pleasant is the homliness and the staff, it really is the perfect hotel for couples and families! Oh and the pool was phenomenal! A large heated pool with glass walls showing a beautiful view of the mountains, a lovely sauna and steam room too!
