I can readily afford to stay at the Ventana Resort Hotel, but I ordinarily prefer to camp. I am a lifelong backpacker, so this campground to which I've been coming for 27 years has always seemed like a relative luxury. The brochures from our visits...More

We were 6 families camping here for two nights and we all enjoyed the experience. Lot trees around the sites gave good shade and the creek running by the sites gave us good feel around the day. Bath rooms were not maintained properly. But staffs...More

Not anything special for the price. We booked a trip to California last minute and this was the only campground left with spots. After I made reservations online I called a few times and left voicemails making sure we got a spot with enough space...More

Wife and I came here after spending two days at 1440 Multiuniversity in Santa Cruz. This place is amazing and worth every dollar. Very quiet and mostly private. Our tent was near the “creek”. Bathrooms are very clean.

I think the sites are too small. We were beside a site where the couple had a rooftop tent and there was a small space for a tent. Parking should be okay. However I remember that they would charge for a second vehicle.

Many of them yes. Some sites have you park away from your actually site where your fire ring & table are placed. I’d encourage you to call the campground & let them know of the scenario.
