Ok... so let's start with the good!! This site is fantastic!! The river that runs through the grounds is small, but beautiful! (No fishing) you camp in the redwood trees!! The air is so clean and fresh!! The hostess was very helpful and knowledgeable! There is a store on site... $10 minimum debt card, so take cash or be ready... More

We spent 2 nights in a cabin room. Rooms are small, but clean, comfortable and neat. Staff was helpful, we had a hot water outage, they quickly fixed and refunded a portion of the room charge. The shared deck is a bit sparse and the walls between rooms very thin, especially when it is otherwise so quiet in the woods.

We booked several months in advance for a cabin with a private bathroom. We booked online and received a confirmation regarding our room. After the initial call, we called back and altered the reservation, shortening it by one night. One thing to remember about Hwy1 is that the cell phone service is "spotty" at best. Apparently, as we were completely... More

My boyfriend and I (and our Puggle) came here on a last minute Labor Day weekend getaway. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly accommodating and we got REALLY lucky in finding a spot here since we didn't plan so far in advance. Our spot was secluded and lovely. The ONLY thing I would say is that I wish... More

My husband, our dog and I stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Overall, our stay was really relaxing. The location was good; close to several hiking trails and beaches. The downside is that it is somewhat pricey for what you get. They also enforce their rules by fining you. One such... More

I wanted to leave a review for camp site #2. Please look at the map carefully. Site 2 is right off the main entrance road. I do not recommend this site. You are essentially 75% exposed and there is no divider between the site next to you (picnic table within 5 feet of each other). Our tent was within a... More

Horrible cancellation policy! $50.00 with over a month's notice. Policy is not on the website. As much, as we looked forward to the visit, wedding plans changed. Life happens. No one was available to speak with regarding the 'Policy". Given the amount of time, the fee could have been at least 1/2 the price to satisfy customers.

Our stay here was minimal. Checked in late at 7-8pm and left early the next morning at 8am. Unlike other inns around the area, there is no shops around here. It was raining when we arrived so we just stayed in our room for cup noodles. Room is ok with connection to Wifi. Bathroom is cold as the heater can't... More

My friend and I spent a rainy night camping in of those Jucy's. It was pretty muddy due to the rains so we didn't explore much. But it was great waking next to the river and the staff was helpful. Not a camper so can't really compare to other places-but the camp store seemed reasonably priced and the toilets and... More

Family friendly place, in the midst of nature. Rv was stationed next to the river where we tubed, swam, played at the basketball court and make our campfire. Very friendly staff and it's a magical beautiful place. It is really quiet and our kids (9,8 and 3) loved it. Would return immediately.
