My first real camping trip couldnt have been a better one. Big Sur was unreal, feeling at one with nature, your own spot to put up tent, a fire pit and picnic table and of course parking space. We were surrounded by squirrels seemingly very brave, and the most beautiful birds. Other visitors were never too far away however we... More

Stayed here for the first time with our teenage boys. We usually stay in more secluded campgrounds but really wanted to visit Big Sur. Trying to get reservations was a pain by phone but keep trying. Mornings are best. I called a year in advance and there were only 3 sites left for the week we wanted. We were in... More

We arrived in Big Sur to find ourselves in the middle of a redwood forest by a creek. Camping and Cabins are available and we chose a cabin ( reservations are a must). The cabin we chose had two queen beds and a bathroom with a shower and flush toilet. The sink was in the main part of the cabin... More

Beautiful location, really clean, lovely swimming hole in river, quiet at night. They also had some beautiful cabins though i didn't see these on the inside. They had a little store that sold basic supplies and firewood. Staff helpful about advising where to go.

Friendly informative staff, rustic camp sites with spotless bathrooms. Although a rustic camping area the grounds are spacious . We booked one night river spot for an RV. Each asphalt pad was very roomie with water and electric hookups (dumping site on grounds). Each river site has a fire pit, picnic table and a great peaceful river next to it.... More

We drove through the property today to see if we would like to bring our trailer with us next trip. The answer is, yes. The sites are plenty large for almost any size. It is wooded and peaceful. The river is right there also. There are cabins, showers and a children's playground. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. We... More

Booked a campsite here from Sunday through Tuesday in April. We were blessed with amazing weather, but regardless, this camp ground is spectacular. Frequent, clean, well-stocked bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers was a nice bonus. All the campsites are large and spacious, you don't feel stacked on top of other campers. Quiet hours from 10pm to 8 am... More

We had a RV site right by the river, between trees. It's a beautiful spot. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to Big Sur village. The only downside was that campsites were covered in mud after rain. They should be covered in gravel.
