We absolutely loved our stay at Glen Oaks. The fire pit and s'mores in the middle of the night were amazing and it's just beautiful to wake up in the forest. In the morning we got up and went to the uber expensive resorts for spa and lunch and saved a ton by not staying there. The heated floor was...

No need to elaborate on how beautiful Big Sur is, and the Glen Oaks is well located with scattered cabins on the shore side of the road and the office and connected rooms on the other side. The cabin are beautifully remodeled but both the rooms and my cabin (we had two as we were up for a wedding) were...

We stayed in the River View cabin in the Redwood Grove. The cabin was beautifully decorated and oh so comfortable. We loved the spacious front porch with fire pit and full-on view of the Big Sur River. It's like heaven being surrounded by the majestic redwoods and hearing the calming sound of the flowing Big Sur River by day and...

Very pricey, but it's worth it if you can afford it. Especially if you've got a romantic partner alongside you. ;) My girlfriend and I stayed over the 4th of July weekend and had an amazing time. The cabins are located right in the heart of the redwood forest. There was literally a trail right outside our front door. A...

I can't say enough about this place. It was pure magic. We stayed in one of the little cottages and it was amazing. I am not someone who enjoys camping but I love being outdoors and in the woods-- I just want to retire to a bed and a shower instead of a tent. This place is exactly that. The...

Beautiful remodel with midcentury/contemporary influences. Very comfortable. A true escape for couples and families alike. No television, peaceful beautiful evenings, amazing stars. Great heated floors in the bathroom. Very comfortable accommodations, and the staff was excellent.

What can I say? I am in love with Big Sur! Glen Oaks helped me build that love affair. Driving up the CA-1 for the first time on my honeymoon could not have gone better. Great views at every turn as you rise up into the redwoods. We arrived to our cabin in the woods for the new few nights...

We thought Glen Oaks was great - having spent a long day in the car to Big Sur we were delighted with our cabin. Whilst small it was very comfortable with lovely king size bed, great shower and a nice outside area with a fire. We felt very much at one with nature and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely...

My wife and I stayed, unfortunately, only one night during a road trip in June. This hotel is unassuming from the outside, but inside (we stayed at the Sycamore cabin) is a surprise and a delight. Ultra modern, ultra Asian chic, extremely inviting, we loved every minute and didn't want to leave. We loved that the fireplace was set outside...

these small houses were incredible. they are nestled back in a gated wooded small community. creek running thru the back with lots of trees. the hotel has an outside fire set up and ready to light when you get there. the rooms were wonderful. the bathroom floors were heated which was a nice perk to have. weather was chilly 50s-60s...
