Fabulous place to stay in Big Sur. We ended up in The Cottage which includes a small, complete, and fun kitchen, living area with with gas stove, styled like an old wood stove but conveniently started with the thermostat, bathroom with heated floors, full tub and shower (with heavenly bath salts), and king size bed room with plenty of room...

We stayed here as a stop on a road trip up the coast. We were in one of the rooms (versus cabins). Property is in a great location right on Highway One in the middle of beautiful Big Sur. The room is well appointed with a retro/rustic but upgraded feel. It was a good size room, has heated bathroom floors...

Returned to Glen Oaks to stay again in The Cottage, 3 years since we were last able to come from the UK.. Unfortunately, owing to a problem with our rental car while we were further south we had to call and say we could not arrive for the first night we had booked. Nevertheless we were welcomed back and treated...

Glen Oaks was lovely -- a wonderful mix of modern style, rustic coziness and a few really luxe details. I loved the super-comfy bedding, heated floors and charming little air plants. My favorite part was the gorgeous fireplace in the room. The star of the property is a sublime redwood tree, the second oldest in big sur. We really enjoyed...

Great place to stay while taking in the wonders and sights of Big Sur. Be prepared for cabin atmosphere with very nice accommodations. Very quiet and relaxing. Loved the campfire pit in front of cabin.

We stayed in the Adobe Motor Lodge Fireside Queen room and the room itself is a little bit smaller than the pictures but still fantastic. Everything is very clean and neat. Since we got there a little bit late that we didn't have the chance to use the yoga mats in the room but the trail across the main road...

If you're visiting California a "have-to" visit spot is taking the CA highway 1 and enjoying the serenity of Big Sur. Glen Oaks is nice little spot to stop over, stretch the legs, eat, shop and enjoy live bands.

My wife and I loved our stay at Glen Oaks. The rooms were very cozy, the staff was super helpful, and the Roadhouse restaurant across the street was such a nice amenity. We debated between a cabin or the motor lodge, and we we ended up choosing the motor lodge... and loved it. We had plenty of space, and the...

My new hubby and I stayed in the Riverview Suite as the centerpiece of our California Roadtrip honeymoon, and it was everything we dreamed it would be. The location is absolutely idyllic. After checking in across the street, we turned down a short drive and entered through an automated gate- so fancy! We drove past smaller cabins and I instantly...

This is our second stay, we've stayed Archie's cabin this time and we loved it. It was romantic and relaxing. Convenient location and the Roadhouse across the street serves great food. Will come back again!
