Post Ranch Inn is one the most beautiful places I have ever been. The whole concept of your stay is to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the magnificent scenery. My first two visits were flawless. This visit was marred by a terrible dinner in the restaurant and one subpar breakfast. In a secluded resort, there is no recourse when served an...

Dear friend, It was a pleasure to welcome you back to the Ranch for your most recent visit. Thank you for your glowing reviews about your ‘great’ spa treatments, ‘lovely’ in-room dining experience and ‘perfect’ accommodations. Although you mention most of your stay overall was of your liking, certainly some shortcomings occurred during your stay, and for that we sincerely...

Set in a beautiful wooded setting, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with spectacular sunset views, this resort delivers a mixture of beauty, luxury and ecological friendliness. The accommodations are in timber cabins that have been allowed to weather to the point where they blend into the landscape. The resort is dotted with beautiful sculptures and other art works, plunge pools, rest...

One of the best trips of my life. There is no comparison to The Post Ranch. Surreal cliffside location, starry nights, nature walks. The definition of zen. Expensive but worth it. Will change your paradigm.

The location is excellent, privacy and views are amazing. We thought the rustic rooms were "okay" for the price. The spa itself isn't anything special, but our massages were excellent. We dined at the restaurant and wasn't that impressed (we live in Manhattan and eat fine dining often). We expected it to be memorable for the price. The breakfast however...

This is the kind of place you hesitate to recommend because you want to keep it to yourself. But the experience is so unique and the execution saw flawless that this hotel deserves to be recommended far and wide and, as far as I can see, it is. I'm not sure I can write a review worthy of this place,...

We've just returned from a four-night stay in a Peak House at Post Ranch ($1600+ per night). The resort is beautifully situated with splendid views, and it's an interesting place, certainly. The star-scape night sky is stunningly magical; you'll get an ache in your neck from craning to look upward. Beautiful plantings even in "winter" and tons of avian life...

This was one of the most relaxing and memorable visits. We have been only to the Resturant Sierra mar and couple of times and have never been let down. Outstanding original dishes, with fresh local ingredients. As for our stay, from start to finish, the staff was warm and welcoming, first class amenities and the relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular...

Just returned from a a visit to the famed Post Ranch Inn. Like others before us, we had huge expectations. They were all met with a resounding WOW! While property is ideally suited for a couples, and exudes romance, we were there on a father-daughter road trip. The Post Ranch Inn, didn't blink, effortlessly adjusting and setting up our stay...

One of the top destinations on the planet. Guests are in awe throughout their stay -- there is a hush to the place as you walk through the forest or gaze down into the Pacific 1,200 ft below. Spectacular breakfast. Excellent yoga classes held in a yurt in the meadow. Superb staff -- many are second-generation on the property and...

This is an amazing property. Magnificent location and appeal. A few small downsides... annoyingly we weren't acknowledged as return guests even though it was my third visit and it grates to be asked various times if this was first visit. Our room was also one of the more dated older rooms with a very smoky fireplace and some room design...
