Spent seven days here and other than having no showers or water available, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Site 25 had a Jasmine tree behind it and every evening when its flowers opened, the aroma was out of this world. Bring water and under arm deodorant and prepare to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Stayed February...

It was great to be in the outdoors and enjoying the breath taking views with family and friends. The facilities were easily accessible. We had a wonderful time away and a must if you enjoy the freedom of the outdoors!

We wanted a camp ground on the coast and we got it! Great ocean views and night sky's! They even have firewood to purchase on the honor system, great perk! The spots are less than level...and if you have a large trailer, very hard to park and get level, we were not in the least bit level for the two...

As stated here repetatively by everyone, all sites in this campground have great unspoiled views of the Pacific Ocean and beautiful star filled Milky Way skies on clear nightd. But that is all spoiled by this awful camping facility that is NOT being taken care of by the host and park service. The 1-star rating I give here is only...

We reserved site 30, which is fairly close to the road. Weather was great, the view spectacular. This is a primitive site with pit toilets and no water, but the toilets were fine - we did not notice any smell from our campsite. On a clear night like we had, the view of the stars was awesome. I would have...

Magnificent views and a wonderful place! Every spot has a good look at the beach, some are more secluded then others. Only tip is to watch out for raccoons and squirrels, don't leave your food unattended too because they will be quick to snatch it up day or night. No running water and toilets are just a whole in the...

I'm no dare devil but duck under the don't pass here sign and meander a little path down to what will most likely be your own private beach. We watched whales from our picnic table and had space and peace and quiet at our large site. There aren't many spots so be there before 8am in busy months to be...

I wish we could have stayed here longer! Just simply gorgeous! Clean bathrooms-close to a lot of hiking. But the view is what dreams are made of.... Hike down to beach is sketchy but possible and I'd do it all over again with no regrets! Book far in advance-it's worth every penny!

We tent camped at Kirk Creek at site #7 for just one night in April. The site was very nice with a nice view of the ocean and private enough from the adjoining sites. Site 8 and 9 might have a better view but we were quite happy with the site with plenty of room. Just be aware that the...

Although this campground offers spectacular views and is close to Big Sur proper, the management is poorly organized--to the point of double booking. There is also the safety issue for REv and trailers, since most sites designated for these are on a 6% grade or steeper! I stayed here in a motor home, paid for 2 nights, and woke up...
