Rancho Sak-Ol is a great option for those of you that have early flights out of Cancun. The rooms are quaint and clean and the hotel is located on the sea away from the hustle of the town: Puerto Morelos. The hotel has a kitchen area where they provide coffee in the morning and a continental breakfast. I have to...

The location is beautiful, a quiet beach - lots of seaweed but that´s the same along much of the coast. Large room with hammocks outside, very pleasant room for breakfast with a sandy floor and lovely view. But... it seems to me that this should be classed as a hostel rather than a b and b.Yes, there was breakfast, but...

This place is unique and has a very laid back atmosphere. While the accommodations are well kept and clean, they do not have the feel of a resort. You are very much on your own. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The beach here is off the main beach and is surrounded by other properties that are not managed,...

Rancho Sak Ol is a true gem. I stayed for 3 nights in early March. The rooms are clean, larger than expected and open to what feels like jungle on one side and ocean on the other. The front porches are also very good size with two hammocks. Hilda is lovely. She and her team put out a beautiful and...

What a place. Instantly made to feel at home, I was shown around the facilities and given an option of a few rooms as it was quite windy. It has a great backpacker vibe to the place, with a communal kitchen and fridge and lots of things you can help yourself to which has been left behind by other guests....

this is not a 5 star swim up bar kind of place. It is like a hunting or fishing lodge type of accommodation. Right on the ocean and the most peaceful place. The rooms have optional swing {hammock like but great mattresses} Try it before you put it back to normal on the floor! The hosts Valente and Hilda are...

Rancho Sak-Ol is a great place if you're looking to stay on the beach, want some quiet relaxing beach time, get away from the Cancun/Playa crowds, and aren't fussy. This is not a luxury resort, but the rooms are clean with some decorative charm, and you walk directly from the beach into your room. The owners were very welcoming when...

Pros: Cute, quiet little getaway located on the beach. Hammocks out back of each room. Free bicycles and 5-10 minute ride to the Plaza for food and drinks (check tire pressure and chain is oiled; brakes may not work). Mueseli with fresh cut fruit, bread, and coffee for breakfast. Cool little bar up top. Has internet. Staff replaced shower head...
