We've been owners of 5 weeks at Grand Residences for 9 years. The housekeeping staff members Baldo and Angelica are 2 of the best we've ever had. Resort food and chef Guido are wonderful! Pool staff continue to work hard to please us, especially Enrique, Alejandra, & Theresa. Iliana and Griselda need a shout out as concierges.

I LOVED my experience at Grand Residences. I enjoyed every minute I spent In there. I don’t want to describe the features I enjoyed the most because I know all other guests talked a lot about them, from 1. The level of details that were paid attention to, inside the room and outside. 2. The variety and diversity of activities that were offered. 3. The level of personal care and attention offered and provided. I will just mention a few personnels who left unforgettable memories with me, knowing that I can’t mention the name of each person although everyone has done a great job making my stay unforgettable and unique. First of all, very BIG thanks to the management that was determined to plan and offer the best experience with everything they did. The room service was conducted twice each day, although that was not necessary, yet the complimentary service makes a big difference. Room service was excellent, and the staff usually go underrated because you seldom see any of them, they just make sure your room is clean, arranged and perfect. Let me start with the Queen of them all…. Alejandra aka Alex…. Without exaggeration, she is running the resort, by taking care of most of the guests’ activities and experience. Alone, she does more than 10 activities back-to-back outstandingly, nonstop and all day long (Spanish lessons, yoga, bicycle, swimming pool, Bingo, and many others). She keeps high spirits although she is exhausted. (from the AC, to the burning sun, to the water, to the sun all day and every day) I can’t get her out of my mind. The Lobby bar, is where I spent long time, Yameer is the professional hardworking was outstanding. Thank you Yameer. Filex is professional. Sebastian is very professional and funny. On the pool and beach, Eliseo was recognizable. He made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. In the restaurants, all personnels made my convenience their priority. Javier, Rosa, and I am sorry again I can’t remember the names of the rest, they all were excellent people, hardworking, very attentive, and extremely caring. In the lobby, the staff were very professional, Iliana was the girl. Again, I feel bad not to be able to recognize each one of them, but they all did a very good job. They are professional, trained, polite and awesome. From start to finish, this was an exceptional experience of service and luxury. The rooms are well appointed, well kept and spacious for families. The restaurants offer delicious options with top notch attentive service. The pool service - from reservations, towels, umbrellas and dining and drink options - is perfect. The kids club is clean and accommodating especially if you would like to accompany a young child for an activity. The resort is boutique, so service is personalized and relaxation is inevitable. We had a perfect stay and would not hesitate to return.

This was our 3rd excellent visit to Grand Residences. We came over Spring Break 2023. The resort is amazing, but the people are what makes it special. It's a quiet resort - no crazy nightlife - which is great for our family. There are many multi-generational families here, often because one generation (often grandparents) own a unit and bring their families to come visit when the kids are out of school. A few things to point out: 1. They take great care of the beach - although the area is fighting a seaweed problem, seaweed never builds up because they have a tractor that picks up the seaweed multiple times per day. It takes an amazing amount of effort but it makes a huge difference to have a clean beach, especially when neighboring resorts do not. 2. The restaurants are very good - our favorite is the breakfast buffet. All of the servers speak beautiful English and Spanish and are very knowledgeable about the menu. 3. The pool is amazing, overlooking the ocean, and full service - food, beverages, towels, and everything else you need to have a relaxing stay. We want to give a shout out to some of the people that went above and beyond to make our visit special. Ismael and his team of pool/beach attendants take care of your every need. Jonathan and Carolina at El Faro and Flor de Canela are lovely and always take great care of us. Gustavo, our concierge, also took great care of all of the little details. But the one team that really makes this resort stand out is the team at the Kids Club. Our kids absolutely love coming to the kids club - Mary, Ivonne, and Chez take such good care of them that our kids never want to leave. If you have kids between 4 and 14, this is a huge perk of coming to Grand Residences. We have not experienced anything like this when we have stayed at other resorts. Carlos on the beach/pool is the best waiter! He is friendly, but also anticipates what you need be for you need it. Gustavo and Claudia are the best concierges for the property, they are sensitive to your needs and do everything possible to accommodate every request. Jonathan is an excellent waiter at El Faro. Alejandra is super amazing activities director. Chez is awesome with the kids club along with Ivon, Theresa, and Mary. They are super attentive to make sure each child has fun during the kids club time. Efrain, Jesus and Israel are the best pool towel guys. Miguel is new but learning fast in the activities. David is a great lifeguard for both the pools and ocean to make sure all are safe while swimming. Good time with family and beautiful property and amenities!

Excellent hotel experience!!The employees at the Grand Residences are exceptional. As are the grounds, pools, beach, rooms and food. - My children had such a wonderful time at the Kids Club (thank you to Yvonne, Theresa and Mary!). My children are a bit older (11) and still were excited and engaged at the club. - The concierge (Gustavo) went above and beyond to assist us when our travel plans (not involving the Grand Residences) were interrupted. - As echoed in other reviews-its the employees who consistently deliver quality service that makes this hotel such a wonderful vacation destination.

From Being picked up at the airport everything was perfect and seamless. Our concierge Liza was friendly, professional and so helpful. We were visiting friends in puerto moreles and didn’t spend as much time at the property as most people But certainly enough to Know We can’t get back quickly enough. The food we did have there was delicious. Have never had room service breakfast delivered so timely and hot. Mucho gracias

The Restaurante Italiano is wonderful! The food is superb and the waiters all make us feel special every time we visit. Flowers on the table for our last night, specially folded napkins, and a warm personal greeting are just a few of the extra touches provided by Miguel Santos, Miguel Sandoval, Josue Romero, and Hugo Frias. The bartenders throughout the resort also deserve special mention. Modesto, Felix, Sebastian, Antonio, and others are expert cocktail mixologists. Refreshing tasty cocktails are only a request away. No matter how busy they get they always make us feel special as they wait on us at the bar. El Faro and Flor de Canela are also superb restaurants with expert attentive waiters, hostesses, and managers. Heaven Beach Bar and Grill is a great place for a snack or lunch. The waiters there also deliver food and drinks to your beach or pool lounger. All in all I can't imagine a better place to spend my winters.…
