We heard amazing things about Desire and it didn’t disappoint. The staff did an amazing job keeping things fun, and the bartenders were on top of their jobs. We can’t wait to go back! Special thanks to the bartenders CC, Abraham, Abel, and the playmakers Javi, Kevin, and all the rest! Sorry we can’t remember everyone’s names, but seriously, they all did an amazing job!

We checked out of a hotel near by with many covid19 restrictions. We had so much fun at Desire, we dance, ate delicious food and party like it was 1999. The spa was super unique, unlike anything we've ever experienced. Carlos and Thelma are an excellent team and a lot of fun!!!
This is a secluded exclusive adults couples only resort, one of only a few in the world. The resort staff and management are probably the finest examples of any hospitality industry on Earth. The resort managers Alejandro and Hector are courteous and friendly. The staff knows every detail and desire and need of each guest. They have low turnover and lots of people that genuinely love their jobs and treat the guests with 5 star service. A few minor areas they can improve, with all the technology out there, they should implement a text service where the guest can send guest services a simple text to request minor things such as order room service or request a taxi etc. Also the rooms are a bit dated and the lighting is not sensual ( nothing sexy about cheap looking Florencent light bulbs like a cheap motel when this is striving to be a 5 star destination ) should be replaced with soft white dimmable mood lighting. Also they should look into having an Amazon Echo Show In room to play music and summon the front desk or room service as needed. Cancun with so many visitors and guests each year should have a better medical system in place to safely provide medical services to their guests and the resorts should contract with more local private medical facilities to ensure the availability of medical help in the event it’s needed in an emergency situation. The flavor of the food could use some improvement overall at all the restaurants. The guests and returning patrons are higher quality, professional, and of higher income type with plenty of returning guests. The resort is highly addictive for various reasons ;) We would like to mention, Gloria our butler, Stephany at the Front Desk, Alexis the Bartender, Gustavo the Hot Tub Bartender, Rafael the second butler, Carlos the pizza chef, Daniel the pool side cabana manager, G at Bell Desk, Blanca and Miguel at the Front Desk and one of the finest gourmet dining waiters in the world, Yousef. Again Hector and Alejandro are exemplary Resort Managers that should be the envy of the hospitality industry worldwide. Definitely will be back for a lifetime of memories. Thank you again!…
Very attentive service, especially Africa and Ricardo, simply amazing. Ernesto is the best cook ever. Entertainment team was off the hook, with Javi and Kevin leading the charge. The main reason we went to this resort were the promising shows and it was fully delivered! There was a friendly atmosphere everywhere, we talked to a lot of great people. Food quality and variety was really good. There were some issues with finding an available sunbed around the pool. Also we've experienced room key malfunctioning several times. We were really pleased with the experience.
